Why they chose this property
Wadduwa is a quiet stretch of coast, away from the busier tourist strips further south, but still close enough to Colombo and Galle for an easy day trip. What I love most is the beach itself — calm, golden, and never too crowded, with a string of relaxed cafés and fishing boats that give it a real local feel.
It's also close to some lovely turtle hatcheries and local markets, so guests get a proper taste of coastal Sri Lankan life, not just a resort strip. For me, it's the balance that makes it special: peaceful enough to properly switch off, but never far from something worth exploring.
