Could have happily sat in the lounge/balcony and watched the river and wildlife all day!
But the bonus was could walk to the pub, hunt for source of Thames and even be adventurous on an inflatable assault course on a nearby lake.
Great place for all age groups.
Oh and we ate brilliantly in the pubs recommended in the visitors info pack.
The property did not live up to our expectations. The downstairs shower room is very small, as is the kitchen, and the main bedroom upstairs is open to the sitting room be,ow.
We had a problem with the hot water system, which the owner’s son fixed for us and kindly gave us 2 bottles of wine.
The family were very friendly and it was pleasant being next to the Thames. We also saw an Otter on the last evening. Overall OK: we chose the location, which was fine but the property is a bit mediocre. The weather was cold for a while and there was a serious draught around the front door.
