A great place to bring in the New Year!

A wonderful place to get away for a few days with friends to walk, relax, and enjoy the surroundings and bring in the New Year together. The lodge was clean, well equipped and has a beautiful view. Neil was friendly, helpful and on hand to make sure everything and everyone were looked after. Highly recommend!

Great stay at South Cerney.

This is a super house just perfect for our long weekend. We were 6 adults and the house was just what we were looking for. Super clean, very helpful host and a warm welcome. Also a lovely warm house (despite the freezing temperatures outside) with lashings of hot water. Great spot, with fantastic walks and local amenities, close to Cirencester for shops etc. We would definitely book again.

A great find…

A cosy and well equipped lodge with an excellent and helpful host manager Neil. A perfect base at a great location to explore the area - close to walks; cycle routes; outdoor activity centres; towns (Cirencester, Burford, Tetbury etc); vineyard tastings (Poulton) and Bibury (trout farm). Lovely to return to the lakeside view and a bonus to sit on the veranda in the sun. A most enjoyable’mini break’

Lovely property, well maintained and beautiful location by the lake. Easy access to all Cotswolds sights. Please note the second bedroom is small and only just fits a double, there is no room for even a bag or any other storage. Otherwise good property fur two adults / two children.

Spring Lake

Just back from a fantastic week staying at Spring Lake, the house was lovely and we enjoyed watching people having fun on the lake. Neil the host was very attentive and always answered any online questions very quickly. He very kindly let us enter the property a few hours earlier than stated which we very much appreciated. The area has lots to offer, and we enjoyed trips out to Bibury trout farm, Oxford and Legoland plus lots of walks.. We highly recommend a stay at this property.

Wunderschöner Indiansummer in Cotswolds

Weekend

This was a lovely property and Neil was very helpful and welcoming. It was perfect for 3 of us. However I booked this for 5 adults but the second double bedroom was entirely taken up by the bed and there was no room to even put down a bag and even for the single guest would have been very claustrophobic. So it was just as well the second couple couldn't come at the last moment. I would have been writing a very different review and giving a different rating if there had been 5 of us. The only other thing to note is that Spring Lake is used for water skiing so if you are after a quiet time watching the birds perhaps another lake might suit more. The house was well appointed and spotless.
