About this property

Dog friendly, fenced yard, sitting on the shore of Oxbow Lake

Sitting on the south side of the lake, Oxbow cottage has 70 feet of beautiful lake front with a 40ft dock. the north side of the lake is state owned and home to wildlife and gorgeous mountain views. Surrounded by hiking and snowmobile trails Oxbow offers great year round adventures for the outdoors enthusiast.
The Cottage
full foundation, insulated and updated with modern amenities, including washer/dryer, propane furnace, and dishwasher allowing for rural scenery with urban luxuries. Centrally located in the Adirondacks and mimicking Adirondack style, the cottage has wood floors and walls and rustic decor.
Outdoors
A large patio with outdoor furniture, gas grill, picnic table, fire pit and chairs offer relaxation next to the water's edge. Swimming and sunbathing, 2 kayaks for use as well as, fishing poles. Across the lake is a popular rope swing for those seeking extra water fun.
Fall
The falls foliage is breathtaking along the lake and mountain views across the lake.
Pets
The yard is fenced in for pets.
We keep our cottage clean and request the same from renters. No Pets on the furniture please.

This place is perfect. The area is very quiet. It was great to walk outside and just get in the water. There is plenty in the kitchen for cooking and eating and enough supplies to get started such as trash bags and paper towels and TP. Would absolutely stay here again

Best rental ever! Clean, comfortable & very well laid out both inside & out. Firepit on the lake edge with very comfortable chairs. The deck/porch was great with cushioned furniture. The fenced in yard was fantastic for our 2 dogs. Hope we can return next fall.

Unbelievable view of the lake. House was very clean, everything you could need is there to use. Able to bring my dogs was a big thing for us. They even had dog dishes, beds and a crate for use if you needed them. This was a rare find! Would book again.

Wonderful location! Close to the beautiful and quiet lake - perfect for relaxing and water activities. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing from the paddleboat and dock (my grandson caught 50 fish in 7 days!) and bonfires in the fire pit that is right at the water's edge. The cabin is cozy and comfortable and has everything you need. My pup loved the fenced in yard and dog run. This is our second year at this cabin - and we will be back for more!

Perfect lakeside retreat.

The property was very clean with all of the necessary accommodations. A beautiful location, right on the lake. This is a great place to be snowed-in and I can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer.

Bird lovers paradise

This is our second time staying at the cabin at Oxbow and love everything about it. The Eagle, Heron, Ducks, Humminbirds, Kingfishers and especially Loons made our stay magical. The fishing was great, and the twilight campfires on lakes edge were the perfect end to the day.

Summer get-away

Beautiful location! Cabin has everything that is needed for a perfect get-away. Cute, comfortable and the location is right on the water. Quiet and friendly neighbors, quiet lake for fishing and kayaking and the bonfire pit right on the water edge is the perfect place to relax! We enjoyed our week so much, I came home and booked again for next summer already!
