We had such a nice time staying here. We came for my dad’s 80th birthday and could not have picked a better location. Coffees in the morning overlooking the ocean, card games around the dinner table. And Anne was super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here!!!
We just stayed at Anne's beautiful property in Bruckless and had a fantastic time. Anne was a great host and communication with her was very easy. The space is wonderful and has lots of room and outdoor space to enjoy. The property itself was very clean and had everything you could possibly need to make your stay memorable. Thanks so much, Anne. We'll be sure to be back again soon.
Stayed here with three friends. We really enjoyed the house. We rented it to play so we could play golf courses in the area. The house was great and there are many options for golf that are a short drive from the house.
Nice accommodation, warm and cosy. There was one TV in the property. Another one downstairs would be beneficial (for those less able to manage stairs). Also the addition of coat hooks in the porch so wet gear could be hung up. Only a few suggestions.
We spent two nights in late September, and realized soon after we arrived here that our biggest mistake of this trip to Ireland was not spending an entire week at his beautiful home. The interior design is perfect. Accommodations are ideal. And the proximity between Donegal town centre and Killybegs is super convenient for so many outdoor activities, as well as proximity to great restaurants. I hope this home is available when we plan our next trip to this area. I would love to stay longer and will fondly recall this as the highlight of our journey.
Make sure you read the instructions before checking in. It can be confusing on check in but more our issue than the property. Beautiful home and location. Managers were very prompt and helpful. Highly recommend.
Property is beautiful and positioned well for visits along the Wild Atlantic Way. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Note - if you are from the US some of the heating and water terminology will confound you so ask questions of the host. There are instructions but are tricky if you are new to these systems. We had a bit of a delay in receiving texts so it took a bit. Once we had it sorted everything was fine. Absolutely comfy beds and lots of space. There were only three of us so we only used two out of the four bedrooms. All were lovely and we could easily have had two more couples along and no one would have felt like they got the bad bedroom. Views from the house are gorgeous.

This cottage has a good location between Killibegs and Donegal town. The Top station had excellent facilities next to us. The house was safe and roomy. But, there was not much of a sea view inside or out. Complicated heating system for Americans. The washer and dryer were not where we comfortably could find them without snooping around in another building. For what we paid the furnishings like bedding lacked quality. There could be some supplies provided such as wash cloths in the bathrooms, paper towels in the kitchen and not a lot of toilet paper. Overall we expected a view and with the price we expected more quality!

Many thanks for the review. Yes, the house is in a great location with many amenities nearby. Maybe the weather had closed in to spoil the view. On a good day one can even see Mayo across Donegal Bay and past Ben Bulben. I’m really sorry the heating system was complicated but I’m not sure how I’d make “on ”, “off” or “timed” clearer in the instructions provided and indeed on the wall beside the system. I’m not sure what you mean by a wash cloth? Towels are provided and toilet rolls. Each guest paid 45 euro per night which is extremely affordable and great value. Safe onward journey and enjoy the rest of your stay in Ireland.
