Between the misty mountains and breathtaking coastline of the island of Kefalonia stands two incredible sea-view villas: Villa Odysseus and Villa Penelope.

These two nearly identical villas sit side-by-side on the same secluded 4 acres, facing an unmatched view of the Ionian Sea. Rent one to sleep 4, or rent both to sleep 8 and share a holiday to remember.

Both villas have their own private swimming pool suspended above the sea. Each also has its own BBQ grill for a truly memorable alfresco meal.

Views To The Horizon

Take your place on the sea-view hillside, a peaceful and private location with uninterrupted views of the blue horizon. Close your eyes, feel the warm sun on your skin, and breathe in the sea air. Located at the end of a secluded road, you won’t hear any traffic here...just ocean breezes.

Then explore the terrain of this majestic Grecian island. Rent a jeep to see the rugged black fir forests and the wild horses that call these mountains home.

Or spend a scenic afternoon renting a small boat and travel to the serene Lefka Beach, located just under your cliff-side villa. Explore the dazzling sea caves via kayak, or take a short six miles drive to sunbathe on one of the most famous sandy beaches on the island, Lourdas Beach. A great beach for families, Lourdas features boat and canoe rentals, jet ski excursions, and more. Drive just two miles and swim in the sparkling waters of Koroni beach.

From the villa, drive 10 minutes to the Village of Lourdas, where you can savor delicious local fare and explore the colorful culture. Travel a little further to Argostoli, the energetic capitol 15-miles away where delicious food is around every corner as well, or take a leisurely winery tour. Come find your slice of heaven by the sea!

A Holiday to Remember

Kefalonia is gorgeous year-round. One of our favorite times of the year on the island is May or September, when the ocean breezes are calm and the temperature is just right. August is another lovely time to visit: take-in the gorgeous full, blue moon through your bedroom windows.

Our Service

There’s a reason our guests return to stay at our villas year after year. Our family-owned properties have been meticulously maintained and cared for, and we live close by and on-hand for any help you may need...or dinner suggestions!

We always welcome our guests at the airport and will provide any recommendations or assistance you need to be completely comfortable here.
Early check-ins and late check-outs are available upon request.

When you arrive you will find a welcome pack with pantry items like a bottle of local wine, fresh seasonal fruits, milk, coffee, sugar, bread, local cheeses, refreshments, beers and more, plus amenities like soaps, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, bath salts, and a sewing kit.

The villas can accommodate up to 4 adults and a baby up to 2 years old in a baby cot.

The spacious private pool area features umbrellas and wooden deck chairs for sunbathing and a shower. The pool itself (4 x 7 m and max depth 1.70 m) is ecological and water overflowing.

All rooms feature air conditioning and luxury furnishings. Complimentary Wi-Fi is also provided.

No security deposit here – we trust our guests!

As in Greek myth, Odysseus is brilliant and versatile. Bring a group of 4 guests and lounge poolside with expansive views of the sea,or take a short drive to explore the shops, eateries and taverns in Lourdas.

INSIDE THE VILLA :

Unwind in a dreamy master suite with a double bed and attached bath with hydro-massage shower.
The 2nd bedroom features 2 twin-sized beds.
From either bedroom, step out onto a private, sunny balcony facing the sea.
For the second bedroom there is a 2nd full bath with a jetted tub.
At the ground floor there is also a WC with a washing machine in it.

Handmade pottery and original paintings, the work of a dear friend, decorate the entire villa.
The charming kitchen provides all the essentials for a seaside dinner.
Fire up the BBQ by the pool. Feast at the dining table and have a glass of local wine to savor on the breezy veranda.

A fabulous villa, just perfect with breathtaking views and in a beautifully tranquil spot. It was absolutely spotless; the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. On top of that was the perfect pool with crystal clear water - well looked after. Paraskevas was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome and looked after. Our third visit and just as perfect as the first two. Spotlessly clean, a wonderful peaceful location and a fantastic welcome. The villa and pool make for the ideal location for a relaxing break. Close enough to food, drink and beaches, but far enough away to be quiet, as if you are the only people on the island. The owner cannot do enough for you and ensures everything is just as you would want it and nothing is too much trouble. The view is something we never tire of. We hope to back again as soon as we can.

Stunning views, immaculate villa, peaceful location & wonderful host

From the moment we booked this beautiful villa, communication with Paraskevas was fantastic, he replied promptly and was always happy to answer any questions 👍. Paraskevas greeted us at the airport and we followed him in our hire car right to the villa front door 🙌. We had the most friendly welcome at the villa as well - we sat and chatted on the veranda whilst being given lots of really helpful information about kefalonia (over a cold beer that was kindly chilling in the fridge for us when we arrived 🍻💞). We were also kindly given some fabulous groceries to get us started (including a lovely bottle of wine 🍷) - everything was greatly appreciated and just what we needed to get us started. The villa is immaculately clean and tidy, the views of the Ionian Sea breathtaking and the pool and outside areas spotless. We watched the sun go down (and star gazed for shooting stars) over the beautiful ionian sea on a number of nights either laid on the lovely sunbeds or sat together on the cosy veranda comfy chairs 😍. It is very clear that Paraskevas takes great pride in his beautiful little villa. Nothing was ever to much trouble and Paraskevas is always happy to help - an exceptionally lovely, genuine and friendly chap 🙂. This is an outstanding villa with an outstanding host - Paraskevas you are one in a million and anyone who stays in your beautiful little villa is in for a treat and like us, will be very happy indeed. The villa surpassed all of our expectations, with the owner meeting us at the airport to ensure that we found the villa, before showing us around and advising us on where to go during our stay. Truly luxury villa

Griechische Gastfreundschaft mit traumhafter Aussicht

Abends wurden wir am Flughafen von Herrn Paraskevas freundlich empfangen und zur Villa begleitet. Der Kühlschrank war nicht nur mit Getränken gefüllt und für das erste Frühstück am nächsten Morgen besorgte Herr Paraskevas sogar frisches Gebäck. Die Villa Odysseus liegt traumhaft schön an der Steilküste mit weitem Blick auf das Meer mit tollen Sonnenuntergängen. Der große abends beleuchtete Pool sorgte für Abkühlung und die hellen freundlich eingerichteten Räume sind alle klimatisiert. Uns fehlte wirklich an nichts was auch an der Freundlichkeit des immer hilfsbereiten Vermieters Herrn Paraskevas lag. Kefanolia ist einfach eine wunderschöne Insel mit traumhaften Stränden und tollen Menschen. Es war ein insgesamt ein traumhafter Urlaub!

Lovely villa and location

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful villa Odysseus. From the moment we arrived and during our stay the property owner, Paraskevas hospitality was amazing. Even though with current situation about COVID and government guidelines, we were very impressed with all the procedures the owner had implemented, felt very welcome and safe nothing was too much trouble for him. The Ionian Sea view villas are stunning, located in a tranquil setting with breathtaking views of the sea and mountains. The villa had all the amenities and was immaculate in every way. We had a welcome pack on arrival which was perfect , with all the essentials enough to get you started for a few days, it was greatly appreciated! A car hire is recommended due to the location of the property, especially if you intend to visit other places on the island. Nearest beach, restaurants and shops are about 10 minutes drive from the villa. We are looking forward to seeing you again next year , once again thank you Paraskevas for being a fabulous host....it was our privilege to of met you😘 Many thanks Annette & Chris

Spectacular rest and relaxation

We have just arrived home from our first stay at this wonderful villa, we have visited Kefalonia many times but can honestly say this has been our best holiday yet! Not only is the villa exactly has described and has shown in the pictures but our host paraskevas I oils not do enough for us even though he had to stick to the strict rules put in place for Covid 19, he made us feel so welcome and he is a true gentleman and Is also extremely kind. We will definitely stay again.

Magical 5-star villa ticks all the boxes and more with an exceptional owner

When we looked at making our booking last year I came across Ionian Sea View villas and read the most incredible reviews. Whilst we had no doubts it would be a lovely place there was a nagging doubt....... could it all be too good to be true?? From the moment we drove down the hill to Villa Oddyseus the reviews were not just true, they undersold it! Ionian Sea View Villas are quite simply stunning. The views over sea and mountains are breathtaking and the whole design, the quality, the contents and the cleanliness is so perfect. You could not my wish for a more perfect and peaceful setting for a relaxing holiday and it was ideal for our family of four. Whilst the villa was immaculate in every way the star of the show was the kind and attentive Paraskevas. In all the years of travelling and holiday stays I have never met a more welcoming and caring host. Paraskevas ensured that we were greeted at the airport, ensured that we were satisfied with the car hire and lead us back to his paradise villas. Not only that, he went to the effort of providing all the essentials in the fridge from bread, milk, fruit, snacks, some local treats and some very welcome ice cold beers, served from a chilled glass (this man knows how to host) and some local wine and soft drinks and water. What’s more, everything is presented like a 5 star hotel with embroidered bedding and towels. Also, during our 10 day stay the whole villa was cleaned top to bottom with fresh bedding and towels twice! Also, what was so enchanting, Paraskevas gave us a thorough tour of the villa on arrival and poured us drinks whilst he gave us a map of the island and talked us through a wonderful guide of things to see and do and places to eat. Trust me, this man has great taste and his recommendations were excellent. Importantly, once we had settled in Paraskevas was so respectful with our privacy. Whilst he also lives on the gated property his home is entirely separate and he let us enjoy our stay alone. However, we saw him most mornings wiping down the sun beds and cleaning the pool first thing and on occasion he brought us some delightful local treats from his kitchen. Importantly you do need a car to stay here as it is in the middle of nowhere but it is so worth it and will allow you to explore this beautiful island. I’m already pining for the glorious morning views from the bedroom and the enchanting evenings around the lit azure pool. Thank you Paraskevas- we’ll certainly be back 🙂

Great, quiet, spotless villa with a view

The villa was so well maintained I thought it was new. It was spotlessly clean, quiet, nicely furnished. The pool is self-cleaning, really, you don’t have to do anything to it. The host, Paraskevas, is informative, super nice, and I believe, a perfectionist. We spotted him sweeping up single fallen leaves. He provided an extremely generous welcome package and authentic Greek recipes. I don’t think he spared any expense with these villas. I did feel somewhat guilty about some of the pool and outside lights we couldn’t turn off at night. We’re environmentally concerned. The view is unspoiled, beautiful and the photos I sent to family elicited comments like wow, looks like a travel blog. Fantastic sunsets. We rented a boat and visited the beach below the house, Paraskevas recommended it, and so do we, you don’t need a special license or any experience either. It was an entire days worth of adventure/fun. Somehow we had no mosquitoes. There are screens in the windows but even when we sat outside we had no problems. We ate outside several times and didn’t even see a wasp. But somehow with the flowers he has there are tons of butterflies. It’s a quick drive to restaurants and Skala beach. We went for a hike in the mountains, too, do it if you’re able. It’s gorgeous and it smells good, too. Bring good hiking shoes.

Paradise on Earth

Our recent holiday in Kefalonia was probably one of the best we have ever had. The island itself is fantastic with all the best that Greek holidays have to offer. However, the villa we hired this time was truly remarkable and provided everything and more that you could possibly want to make a holiday perfect. This was mainly due to our host Paraskevas who made us so welcome it’s hard to find the right words that describe the contribution he made. By way of example, the fridge was stocked all sorts of foods and drink. There were beers on chill which provided a welcomed refreshment on our arrival. On the way to the villa Paraskevas stopped at a local bakery and bought us all sorts of delicious pastries to go with the already plentiful supplies. As it was our wedding anniversary during the stay he and his wife went to the trouble to bake us a delicious apricot pie that we ate with ice cream he also supplied. In addition to this he was the epitome of discretion although he and his family live on site you rarely saw him accept early in the morning when he might be collecting garden debris or cleaning the pool. He always asked when it was most convenient to carry out a villa clean etc. The HomeAway website carries a video to illustrate the villas and this is a very accurate illustration of what you will find except that its even better in reality. The views are simply breathtaking especially as the sun sets in the evening. The villas are of the highest quality in all respects. I cannot recommend Paraskevas and his villas highly enough....the whole experience was fantastic.

Just as beautiful as the pictures!

Finally a villa that looks just as good in real life as in the pictures! The host Paraskevas was attentive without being intrusive. Met us at the airport and had filled the fridge with wine, beer, juices, bread, fruits and more! He also had lots of great advice and tips about the island. The villa itself is set next to another villa with the host living in another house behind both. It is lovely with uninterrupted sea views and neither house intrude on the other. I loved that the sun beds are high quality and the pool area super clean. In fact, the villa was also cleaned midweek. Relaxing, peaceful and pure bliss! A great place to recharge and base for visiting the rest of the island (which is beautiful and unbelievable less touristy than some other islands). If you like the pictures, you’ll love the villa. We will definitely be back and probably rent both houses with family.

Paradise, it was faultless, breathtaking and beautiful place

When we arrived I shed a tear as i saw the outside! It’s an unbelievable view, pure paradise. Paraskevas has filled the fridge up full of lovely fruit and local foods, and even he offered up an ice cold beer when we arrived, much appreciated when your hot and tired but excited! The villa itself is immaculate and has all the essentials you’ll need for your stay ! The pool area is stunning with the most amazing views, beautiful sea with yachts and sailing boat passing floating past, and the only sounds of buzzards in the air. I’ve never stayed anywhere like this before it was truly breathtaking x

We could not wish for a better holiday. From the warm welcome at the airport from our host Paraskevas nothing was to much trouble. The Villa and pool were beautiful extremely clean and well decorated with enough furniture for all our needs and comfort, plus a fully stocked fridge. The ocean views and sunsets were stunning and the surrounding area very quiet and peaceful apart from the sounds of House Martins and Swallows and the tinkle of sheep bells in the field nearby. Paraskevas was such a wonderful host very unobtrusive but on hand if you required help. We will return one day. Thank you Paraskevas.

Paradise on earth!

An outstanding villa, well furnished and spotless with fabulous views. The owner of the villa Paraskevas, lives nearby, he is an excellent host and nothing is too much trouble, he provided a fridge full of lovely food and drink, as well as various other little gifts. He is also very knowledgeable about the island, and its attractions. The villa is quite isolated so a car is necessary if you wish to visit the local tavernas. The renowned Lorraine's Magic Hill is a short drive away, and Fiscardo and Assos at the north end of the island are amazing places to visit , beautiful and full of atmosphere. The villa is set in a gated perimeter along with a twin villa and the owner's bungalow. The two villas are completely private from each other. We spent a wonderful relaxing week here and as well as visiting some really good tavernas, we also enjoyed some nights in, watching the sun go down as we dined. We would thoroughly recommend the villa and hope to go back soon.

A Fantastic Holiday Villa.

A truly memorable holiday. For all the right reasons. We stayed at Villa Odysseus which is first class. The Interior and exterior are finished to a very high standard. The villa is immaculate and spotlessly clean. The pool and garden areas are beaautiful. Again, maintained to a very high standard. You can be assured of complete privacy and wonderful ocean views. The patio area above the pool has BBQ, eating and relaxing areas that are perfect for relaxing during the day. If it gets too hot, simply hit the loungers in the shade. The position of the villa is very convenient for the airport (25 min drive) and Argostoli (25-30 min drive). Nearby villages are Lourdata (5 min drive), Kateleios (<10 min drive) and Skala (10 min drive). All have great restaurants and beaches. Kefalonia is a very beautiful island. … and finally our host Paraskevas. He really looked after us during our stay. This included meeting us at the airport, arriving to a fully stocked refrigerator, advice and guidance on Kefalonia and regular treats. Nothing was too much trouble. Paraskevas also has a great sense of humour and is very generous. If you are looking for a luxury villa with beautiful views, an excellent host and conveniently situated, look no further. A luxury Villa in a stunning location

We had a wonderful 10 days in these two beautiful villas. We were a family of 8 and hired the both villas which were next door to each other and worked out perfectly. Paraskevas couldn't do enough for us, provided a large table and chairs to ensure we all eat together in the evenings watching the sun set. The pool was lovely and clean all the time, the main bedroom was ensuite and both bedrooms had a baIcony where you can see the sun rise and set each day. I can't wait to go back next year :-)

Outstanding Sea View Villa

This is an outstanding villa in all areas. We have visited a number of Greek islands over the last few years and our holiday at Villa Penelope has by far been the most relaxing. The Villa itself is in an amazing location, down a very well laid out concrete road to a beautiful cliff top with the only view being the Ionian Sea and a handful of yachts. The pool, gardens and BBQ are highly well maintained and very luxurious. Paraskevas cleaned the area daily before we got up and ensured the high standards were upheld. The Villa itself is of a very high specification, the power shower, jacuzzi bath, luxury towels, fluffy slippers and bath and body lotion to name but a few. The kitchen facilities are fabulous, having a dishwasher certainly added to the relaxation. However the overriding factor that made our holiday was the calm, professional manner of Paraskevas. Although his Villa is on site, he never intruded on our privacy but was always on hand whenever we required anything. His aim is to simply offer his service to ensure all our needs were met. We have never met such a kind and generous host. We arrived to a fridge full of food, beer and wine, on our first morning he dropped off fresh bread and croissants. We were also treated to homemade pies and ice cream that his wife had made which were delicious. From guidance to the best restaurants, best beaches and even booking a taxi late at night, there was nothing more Paraskevas could do to ensure we had such a relaxing time. We can not rate this Villa highly enough, amazing location, clean and well equipped with the kindest, considerate, humorous host we have met. Thank you Paraskevas for the honour of staying at the beautiful Villa Penelope. David, Fiona and Harriet
