Villa ZOI is located In Kefalonia In Crizata small village 3km away from Sami small port where you can find good restaurants, harbour side cafe ,bars & tavernas,, shopping (fresh fish, fruit markets) ,pharmasy,etc
Its almost new (COMPLETED SEPTEMBER 2011) and HAS BEEN RECENTLY RENOVATED,its set in a key unspoilt location of Kefalonia has unique style and quality and superb panoramic views of the country side.There is a also a brand new private swimming pool 9,40 m long x 4,20 m wide. For safety reasons the swimming pooli is gated and it is located in a different level from the villa.There are 6 sunbeds and 2 large umbrellas on the pool area.
Villa Zoi covers an area of 92 m2 set over 2 floors with 2 bathrooms.. The ground floor comprises of an open-plan airconditioned kitchen / living / dining area with patio doors leading to a veranda.An other family bathroom with a shower enclosure is situated on the ground floor
The first floor accommodates 2 large airconditioned bedrooms with one double bed and 2 twins beds with fitted wardrobes leading to a large balcony and a family bathroom with a washing machine. Designed to accommodate up to 6 people. The luxury kitchen is fully fitted with hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. The villa has a private gated entrance with space for parking and stone boundary. The position of the villa makes it an ideal destination for those who want to combine their vacation by the sea and the countryside.

The largest of the Ionian Islands, Kefalonia is unspoilt, with a varied, beautiful landscape. The island is very friendly, particularly in Grizata! The beaches are extremely good, the sea usually impossibly blue, particularly on the west coast of the island, and the hospitality in the wealth of tavernas, bars and restaurants is warm & genuine.

Villa Zoi is located right at the edge of the pretty village of Grizata in the exclusive Sami region in the west of Kefalonia. The beautiful views from the front of the villa are of olive groves & cypress trees . Crizata is a small Greek village 3km away from Sami port where you can find good restaurants, harbour side bars & tavernas, internet cafe, shopping (fresh fish, fruit markets) .
Sightseeing :
Antisamos famous beach is only 7km away from the Villa: a spectacular beach surrounded by impressive verdant hills, with turquoise-blue, crystal clear water ideal for snorkelling. Water sports on offer.
Along the coastline Sami - Agia Efimia (3-12 km from the Villa) there are numerous little white pebble coves with crystal clear water, ideal for snorkelling.One of them is Santa Paraskevi , with beach bar and a nice restaurant
/taverna by the sea.
A 20 min drive from the villa is the renowned 'Myrtos' Beach (white sand and pebbles, blue-turquoise waters), voted one of the best beaches in the world.It is also one of the most photographed beaches in the world.

Karavomylos lake, 6km from the Villa is another fantastic place with a friendly tavern looking across the sea to Ithaca.
Drogarati Caves, situated about 2,5km from the villa are stalagmatic caves thought to be 150 million years old. The acoustics inside are so good it hosts concerts, where there is room for an audience of 500 people.
Melissani Lake 7 km from the Villa: again situated just outside Sami, is an underground cave with a lake where you can be punted around in a rowing boat. When the sun is overhead around midday it hits the turquoise-blue waters, creating a magical illusion and suddenly filling the cave with blue light.A boat trip on its bluish green water is a wonderful experience
The Ancient Acropolis of Sami and the monastery of Fanendes 6 km from the Villa: with stunning views to ithaka and a lot of pathways ideal for walking and exploring .
Furthermore, you can rent a motorboat in Sami and in Santa Efimia and visit secluded idyllic bays accessible only by boat. A truly unique experience! The Bavarian Horse Riding Stables, approx. 12 km from Villa Zoi: a completely different way of exploring Kefalonia, by following old donkey trails with wonderful views through olive groves and fruit orchards.
Assos is a tiny village built on a small peninsula, dominated by the ruins of a 16th century Venetian castle. It is situated on the North-West coast, not too far from Myrtos beach, one of the most photographed beaches in the world. Fiskardo is a picturesque fishing village situated right at the far North of the island and is one of the few villages not to be destroyed in the earthquake of 1953 (ferries/boat trips to Ithaca/Lefkada sail from here
St Gerassimos Monastery is at the heart of the island and the interior of the church is decorated with breathtaking murals. Saint Gerasimos is the patron Saint of the island and his remains are kept in a small chapel in a silver and glass sarcophagus. The ferry to Zakynthos sails from Pessada, a port situated 3Okm from the Villa. Ferries from Argostoli sail to Lixouri for exploring the island’s western peninsula.

Relaxing stay in the middle of Kefalonia

This is a wonderful viila literally minutes away from all of the island's top-notch attractions, not to mention the fantastic pool! The host, Dimitris, provided us with all the information we needed prior to our stay and responded almost immediately if we needed anything more. Can't wait to visit again!

Great villa in great location

We had an amazing stay at the villa in October half term. The villa was perfect for a family stay. Comfortable and spacious for our family. Lovely views from the terrace and lots of space for relaxing by the pool. Only a few minutes from Sami, the perfect base for exploring the island. We had a day trip to Ithaca as well. Dimitris checked regularly that all was well and the villa was cleaned mid week in our stay. I thoroughly recommend Kefelonia and Dimitris’s villa - you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Great villa in a peaceful location

The villa is as seen in the pictures, very nice with all amenities you need. Lovely pool and outdoor space. The villa is 4 km away from Sami town so you might need a car, but the area is very private. Special thanks to Dimitris - he is a very nice host, responsive to your needs and willing to help. All his suggestions - beaches, restaurants and point of interest were very good. Kefalonia is the best Greek island I have visited so far.

Fabulous holiday!

We have had a wonderful 9 days in villa Zoi. Such a perfect location, with lovely mountain and forest views from the villa and pool. Short drive to Sami, which had lots of restaurants to choose from. Thank you Dimitris for your hospitality the wine and cakes were a lovely surprise. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in a very special place. The Villa was everything we hoped for. Lovely quiet spot but only a few minutes by car to Sami. Great views and a fantastic pool. The Villa has been finished to a very good standard and all the facilities are there. Sami has some very good restaurants and the atmosphere is warm and friendly. In fact everywhere we went the Greek people were extremely welcoming and could not do enough to help us.

Very nice and well kept house

This is a nice house situated in a small Greek village. Nearest town for shopping is Sami, some 3.5km away. Owner Dimitris is very helpful. The house looks as shown on the photo's. A cleaning lady stops by every three days. The location is good for touring the island or taking a cruise to Ithaka from Sami.

Super lovely home from home

We had such a lovely time staying in this peaceful, secluded villa - it was the perfect base for a relaxing week in the sun. Dimitris was an excellent host, really communicative and helpful when we had any small problems. One day we had a small issue with the air con unit and he come over within hours to fix it. The pool is really the highlight. The location of the villa means you need to get in the car to go to any beaches or restaurants, but a pool day with a lovely bbq dinner is a great alternative :) There is a second villa, almost identical, right next door to this one, but we barely noticed our neighbours. Although the location is somewhat off the beaten track we we felt very safe. We all agreed we’d made the right choice with this villa and would happily book it again!

A little slice of heaven

We had the pleasure of staying in Villa Zoi for 4ngts and wished we’d stayed longer. From the moment you arrive and step out of the car it’s so quiet and peaceful. As we entered the villa it was lovely and cool, the air con in the lounge and both bedrooms works really well and makes it so comfortable. The beds are super comfy and shower works really well. There is a huge fridge freezer which is a bonus. The villa is beautiful and very traditional with the added bonus of a modern flat screen to which has Netflix, not that we used it much. Not when you have amazing views out the back from the raised large patio area with a huge bbq. The pool area is so private and it’s such a luxury to have it all to yourselves. It’s a very romantic location with amazing views of the mountains all around and the greenery. The host Dimitris was so attentive and great at communicating. He even brought us a lovely selection of cream chocolate pastries and left a bottle of wine in the villa for us, such a nice touch and thoughtful. We would highly recommend this villa to family and friends and hope to return in the future.

Don't bother unless you rent two villas

It was the first time we rented villa which was next to other property and what a disappointment it was. Villa was beautiful and fantastic location. Its a shame that the owner doesn't care who he rents the properties to. We are in forties with one child. We had my husband mother with us so we're looking to a relax week. Unfortunately we had a party group next to us. We contacted owner about the loud music from next door, I even sent him photographic evidence of the speakers which they had with them. Owner did nothing,. Sorry forgot to tell -he called them to ask about the loud music ( of course by the time they picked the phone they switched it off) and they denied. We even heard the whole conversation. Later in the night we had smashed glass, sickness - everything you could imagine on the trip to Ibiza not in Kefalonia. At the end we called the police. If you wish to have quiet holiday in the countryside please do not book until you know who will be your neighbour. One more thing on arrival when we asked him about the neighbours and their music the owner lied to us saying that he never had a problem which was a lie. As soon we told him we are going to complaint to the Vrbo he came back with pathetic offer of refund which we refused as found it offensive for the hassle we had

Great villa set in a peaceful area of the island

Our family stayed here for a week and loved the villa. The pool is a great addition and the villa has all of the amenities you would need during your stay. It is in a great location just up the road from Sami and other areas of the island including Argostoli can be reached easily. The view from the rear terrace and garden is amazing and provides some great sun through the day. On-property parking is also useful if you have a hire car like we did. Dimitris is an excellent host who provided us with some much appreciated wine and pastries when we arrived. He also provided some great recommendations on where to go and was always available to help. We would definitely recommend this villa to anyone visiting Kefalonia, we will sure be looking to return one day!

Wonderful 2 week stay at Villa Zoi

We have just returned from a fantastic two week stay at Villa Zoi and had a really incredible stay in Beautiful Kefalonia. Dimitris was always on hand for any requests and was absolutely brilliant to deal from the moment we booked up until the day we left.The Villa itself is spotlessly clean and very spacious with everything you need for a tranquil relaxing stay.The terrace and lovely BBQ area has wonderful views of the surrounding country side and mountains and is so quiet you can virtually hear a pin drop!The pool area is beautiful and the pool itself was one of the largest Villa pools we've ever had with very clear and lovely warm water.The Villa is just a 5 minute drive from the small town of Sami which has some really great and reasonably priced restaurants along the very pleasant harbour front and also very centrally located and so a great place to be based to see all parts of this incredible amazing Island within a 45 minute drive.Villa was superb,Island is stunning, beaches bays and sea are out of this world, food excellent everywhere we went and the sun shone everyday so really cannot ask for more. Lovely views, clean and well kept

Stayed for 10 nights with 2 young children who made good use of a fantastic pool. The villa itself was well kept and cleaned every few days. Amazing views across to the mountains and the forest canopy below the gardens. Nice situation within a sleepy village which gave you a sense of mixing in amongst the locals and getting a real flavour of island life. Within 7 minutes or so drive from Sami which severed us well with a good selection of restaurants and cafes, although Agia Efimia (15/20 minutes away) was our most go to destination for eating out. All in all a very enjoyable stay and the owner was helpful throughout. We'll certainly look to return.

Perfectly located on this beautiful island

The Villas are located a 5 minute drive from Sami in the quiet village of Kapodata. Dimitris met us on arrival and was most helpful throughout the booking process and during our stay. Villa Zoi is one of two villas next to each other so would make a great choice if you were two families travelling together. Our Villa had all the facilities we needed. The washing machine is a great addition as we stayed for two weeks and went home with clean clothes! Nearby Sami has everything you need and is a very pretty place. It is also the perfect location to visit the many many beautiful sights on this amazing island. The Villa has beautiful mountainside views and the pool is well maintained. Thank you Dimitris for your hospitality and for all your help and kindness. We will definitely be back.

Great Villa

Modern well equipped Villa. Located just a few kilometres outside Sami, the villa had everything we needed for a wonderful holiday. We were met by Dimitris, who was very easy to deal with. The Villa is well equipped but the best features are outside with a wonderful patio area with steps leding to pool and garden area.. I would recommend this villa.

Our stay at villa zoi

The most amazing place to say, so beautiful, and quite. Arrive for a 10 day break with my husband and friend, Dimitris was there on our arrival and took us into Sami so we could do some shopping (very nice of him). The villa has everything you need and is very well kept, clean sheets and towels changed every 3 days. Weather was fantastic, sun shone every day, lovely swimming pool, very clean. The views from the villa are lovely, with nobody overlooking you. A car is essential to travel around the island, although we spent most of our holiday at the villa not wanting to really go out, as all we required was right there. We would highly recommend a stay at villa zoi, for a relaxed and peaceful holiday Dimitris and his family are lovely, and very helpful, we wish them all the best and would like to thank them for the privilege of letting us stay at villa zoi and wish them well We will return in the near furture 😎🌞🍧🍸👙🕶🍷🤗✈️

Fantastic villa - would highly recommend

We stayed at Villa Zoi for 1 week with our 2 young children (aged 4 and 2). The villa was absolutely fantastic - it was all we could have wished for and made for a brilliant and memorable holiday. During the booking process and run up to our holiday, the communication from the property owner, Dimitris, was excellent. He was very quick to respond to queries and very helpful. Upon arrival at the villa, we were met by Dimitris with a warm welcome, a lovely bottle of the local wine, and some delicious ice creams in the freezer for the kids. The villa was beautifully clean, really well equipped and of a great standard. A real home from home. Its location is in a quiet village, which forms a backdrop for the stunning views from the balcony and swimming pool. We loved the peaceful rural location - a real opportunity to get away from it all and enjoy a slower pace. We enjoyed watching the fire flies at night from the balcony! The pool and garden are first class and a huge plus point for the villa. You will need a car to get about, but Dimitris advised us on car rental aswell. The villa is well located for exploring the island - we managed to explore the full length of the island during our stay. Just around the corner from the villa is 'Donkey Trekking Kefalonia' - we took our young children here for a 1 hour ride and they absolutely loved it. The lady who runs it is fantastic and the donkeys are very well cared for. So if you end up staying at Villa Zoi, then we would highly recommend a donkey trek. Thank you Dimitris for your fantastic hospitality and for letting us stay in your gorgeous home - we absolutely loved it, and have very fond memories of our holiday. We would highly recommend this villa.

Perfect relaxation, quiet, comfortable

We had a fantastic holiday , the villa is very comfortable, all of the amenities necessary, to allow you to feel ' at home ' For travellers like us who prefer independence , freedom and quietness , away from crowds, the location is ideal The villa is only a few minutes drive from Sami, but also an ideal base to explore the island The pool is a fantastic addition, with the outdoor area perfect for a swim, a sunset, a bbq, or relaxing The owner Dimitris could not possibly have been nicer or more helpful

Luxurious grounds like waking up as a lotto winner

When we arrived we were greeted by dimitris the owner... He had left us wine, a cake and fresh bread so that was a great start! Gave us a lot of tips and showed us places on a map for us to visit. We explored the island and had this fabulous base to come back too. Breakfast on the balcony if you wished as everything was there for you to cook yourself we even had a bbq one evening. The grounds and the pool area was simply stunning And to wake up everyday to that made me feel like a lottery winner if only for a couple of weeks! We saw dimitris a couple of times through the holiday and he always came bearing gifts.... Ice creams, cakes The cleaner visited every 3 days with fresh towels and bedding. Only comments I have are that we couldn't seem to find tea towels for drying pots but that could be a British thing And the TV only has bbc news in English so take DVDs with you if you like watching TV or have youngsters to occupy. They aren't complaints just observations Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this villa and if we came back to kefalonia would stay here again

Super Urlaub

Sehr schön und ruhig gelegende Villa. Idealer Ausgangspunkt zum erkunden der Insel, Auto ist aber notwendig. Die Villa ist geplegt und sehr gut ausgestattet, man muss auf nichts verzichten. Dimitris, der Vermieter, ist sehr nett und gastfreundlich, gibt auch Tipps für Ausflüge und wo man gut essen gehen kann. Man konnte ihn auch über Handy oder eMail jederzeit erreichen, was sehr hilfreich war. Die Villa ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Danke für den wunderschönen Urlaub. Steffen, Agnes, Kevin

Why they chose this property

My grandmother Chrisanthi and my Mother were born in the village of Grizata.We have a small house in the village,I use when i was young to spent many summers in this place,so i always wanted to built a new house here.

What makes this property unique

What i love in this villa is the spectacular views to the valley and to the swimming pool , also that villa is new,has all the comforts every body needs,plus the gorgeous swimming private pool.Our villa is located in the central of the island ,so it is an ideal base to explore the island and to visit many nice places of interests like Drogarati Cave, situated about 2,5km from our villa,Melissani famous underground Lake only 7 km away from our Villa,Myrtos famous beach about 20 mins drive from our villa,Antisamos gorgeous beach only 7 km away from our villa,Assos village ,Fiscardo village etc.
Also the area our villa is located is still unspoiled, it is surrounded from so much green,there is quiet,and of course the sound of the water of the small stream that flows only 200 m away(during winter and early spring time)
Not to forget that swimming in our new private swimming pool is fantastic and very relaxing.
