This cabin was a great getaway for our family! We liked the location - lots of hiking and mountain lakes to access.
We’d love to stay again - maybe look for a little larger cabin as our grandkids grow - the ladder to the loft isn’t kid-friendly. 🙂
We have never been treated so rudely. These hosts are horrible people. Would never recommend. Such a pretty place, what a shame Barbara Smith thinks she can be so disgusting to a family who spent over $1000 on two dilapidated cabins on a property you’re not even “allowed” to enjoy. Apparently they have no need for repeat customers or good word of mouth. Would never recommend.

I am truly sorry you feel this way. I too was disappointed in your stay. Not only did you violate the rental agreement and have an event on my property, but you took down the rope blocking guest to my private living area. We strive to make as much of the ranch enjoyable for guests, we also live here and appreciate some personal space.
The view is amazing and the owner is great. We stayed 3 nights and it was not enough time to do everything the property has to offer. Its nice to be able to use the boats they have on the pond and just the peacefulness of being out on the pond is so relaxing. We will be back for sure!
The property is incredible. Beautiful sights, near enough to Glacier National Park to make a day trip, cabin is just as advertised. Plan ahead - none of us had cell phone signal without driving at least 30 minutes way from the property. If you haven't received your email from the owner with instructions on which cabin you are in make sure to get it before you get close to the property. If you need emergency wifi, Swan Lake Public Library is 30 minutes north of the cabin and has 24/7 free wifi, though it is limited bandwidth.
Loved this little cabin... It was perfect for our family to end our vacation... Wish we could have stayed another night. It was clean and super relaxing with a view that was amazing. Can't wait to return!

Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Very rustic
This was an (easy to find) very rustic cabin in the woods. Most everything about the cabin itself was fine. Lovely wood all around. It’s quiet, a nice place to read a book after hiking all day. Three fatal flaws:
Beds horrifically uncomfortable (yes two are in a loft, make sure you read the fine print if you are a bigger party).
Stove didn’t work. Oven barely got warm, only one burner worked on the stove.
The shower was awful. Very small and very dirty. Moldy walls and dirt engrained in the floor.
Would not stay again unless some improvements are made.
The property is way off road and difficult to find. The listing claims three bedrooms but the reality is one large room containing a couple of sleeping areas and the kitchen. The VRBO listing is completely inaccurate

The property was even more beautiful than the pictures show.
The overall experience was amazing and I would definitely go back here again. The owners were very attentive and caring. The property is located in a very peaceful area and the pond out back is very serene and reflects the surroundings beautifully. If you are looking for a getaway I would definitely recommend this property. It had everything we needed for a night away from home.
