Villa Pura Vida: Enjoy life!

Villa pura vida is located in a unique part of the Netherlands: in the middle of the Randstad and in a Dutch polder landscape. By the water with large garden and wide view. Villa Pura Vida is a thatched 10 pers. villa, built by ourselves in 2004. It is really a lovely house and we have lived in it with great pleasure for 16 years. Thanks to good friends we were able to add some nice extras (such as hot tub and sauna, which you can book as extras) and this is how villa pura vida was created ...
The house surface is approx. 220 m² and the outside area that you have privately available at the villa is approx. 400 m².

The House

Ground floor :
entrance with toilet, wardrobe, large open kitchen with cooking island, living room with large natural stone table (10 pers), large sitting area with 3 sofas, lounge chair, tree trunk table, fireplace (gas), flat screen TV 55 inch (digital, international channels + Netflix) , open staircase, patio doors to garden and veranda, 1 x double bedroom with a double bed. Also a space + bay window adjacent to the living room of approx. 16m² (former office) which is now furnished as a "game room" with all kinds of board games ranging from cards to yatzee, scrabble, casino game, stratego, etc. for all ages. In addition, an Xbox and a Wii including a number of games and a TV for gaming.
1st floor: landing, 1 x 2 person bedroom with a double bed, 1 x 4 person bedroom with 1 x kingsize bed and 2 x 1 single bed, bathroom with toilet, large double sink, spacious walk-in shower with rain shower, hand shower and wall nozzles, very spacious 2 person bedroom and bathroom ensuite with 1 x king-size bed, seating, large sink, whirlpool bath for 2 people, walk-in shower with rain shower, hand shower and wall nozzles, toilet.

kitchen facilities :
Cooking island with 5-burner gas stove, vegetable sink, water grill, deep fryer, American fridge and freezer combination including ice maker, 2nd flushing facility, combination microwave, dishwasher, oven.
In addition, there is a kettle, a Senseo and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine, a blender, soda stream, electric juicer, Sabatier knife block, pans, crockery, glassware and cutlery for 10 guests. So you will lack for nothing!
Also in the house:
washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, a Philips solarium, gourmet set, fondue set, various fitness app. and WIFI.

Outside :

Veranda at the house (approx. 30 m²) with lounge set, seating high (4 pers) and low (2 pers).
Large private garden on the water (approx. 350 m²) with jetty, garden furniture incl. 10-person outdoor table, lounger, 2 hammocks, outdoor shower and outdoor games such as you fo, kubb, badminton are available. Also an outdoor kitchen with 2nd refrigerator and large wood-fired Ofyr BBQ. Also at the front of the house there is a terrace + large patio table + chairs.

Further outside and optional:
Use of our houseboat which has been transformed into a sauna boat with relaxation area and large (8 person) Finnish sauna. Use of the large (10 person) wood-fired hot tub. From the sauna boat you look out over the garden and the hot tub and from the hot tub you have a glimpse into the sauna boat. Use of our beautiful white sloop of 8 meters x 2.70 meters, including seat and relaxation cushions and suitable for a maximum of 12 people. Only including private skipper for hire who will bring a large cool box with ice for your drinks on board .. Use of our two 3-person Canadian canoes for a trip through the rural ditches or the Kagerplassen. A dinghy with a whisper motor for a trip with a little more pace is also an option. And if you want to cycle a bit, there are 3 bicycles available here. The bicycles are at your disposal free of charge, the other options are subject to costs.
