About this property
Central London Flat with Garden- 5 minutes to Oxford Circus!
Garden Flat Beautiful, self contained lower ground flat in a gorgeous period building with an enormous outside terrace (sole private use). The flat was very recently renovated in a minimalist yet cosy style- all mod cons including washing facilities and wifi throughout. The neighbourhood: Fitzrovia has been voted the best place in London to live many times. It's a great district- full of independent coffee shops, bars and restaurants but still a very residential area with a real community feel. So close to all the main tourist sites and famous shopping streets of London- all within walking distance. Soho, Oxford Street and Regent's Park are all within 5 minutes walk of the apartment. There is a supermarket at the end of the road- open 6am until 11pm. Fitzrovia has a very interesting history and many famous artists, musicians and writers lived in the area. So much to discover here!

The place was clean, although there’s no couch. There was a futon that was very uncomfortable and the table had two picnic chairs that folded up. I reached out to the host. The first time I got no response. The second time I asked for a map because the shower was so slippery and I believe one showed up three days later the day before we were gonna leave.
We had a wonderful weekend stay in London at your place! Great location and super cute! The beds were so comfortable too! We would definitely stay here again!!
This flat is in a great location with easy access to different tube stations, easy walking distance to many major attractions; great neighborhood restaurants and nearby market . Easy to book check in and communicate with the host.
This is a cute, but very small, flat. The flat was very clean. We were not provided the correct code for accessing the keys; however, we were given a number to call if we had any difficulties and we were able to get the correct code immediately as soon as we realized the one we had did not work. Unfortunately, you can hear the people in the flat above walking around and talking if they are speaking loudly. The kitchen and main living area are all one room. The kitchen is very small with a tiny fridge. The living room has a couch that converts to a futon bed and an additional, smaller futon that I used as a bed and it was fine. We LOVED the outdoor patio! My cousin found the bed to be fairly comfortable though she just prefers a stiffer bed. There is plenty of room for your clothing. The bathroom is unusual in that it actually has a tub! However, there is a VERY high step to get into the tub and could be a problem for those with mobility issues. The hot water was plentiful and the water pressure was great. Note: the two circles on the mirror in the lower left hand corner control an additional light around the mirror. There is no ventilation in the bathroom whatsoever, so if you hang your towels on the back of the door to the bathroom, they may not dry. This flat is very near a Tesco grocery store. The closest tube stations are really not that close and involve a bit of walking, which is particularly tough in sweltering temperatures. I recommend this flat.
This apartment was perfect for our stay in London. It's location was central to all the major sites either by walking or by Tube. There was much to see and places to eat very close by. An added bonus was the garden area. It was perfect for sitting and relaxing at the end of the day.
This place is just perfect if you are looking for a central location in london! We stayed with our two teen daughters and it was perfect for the 4 of us. Tesco up the road, easy tube access. Super clean ! Comfy beds! We will be back for sure!!!
The property was perfect for our purposes. About 1.5 miles from the city center, but all walkable. Restaurants and pubs were close to the flat, as well as a grocery store at the end of the street. Great Portland Street underground was less than a 10-minute walk away which made EVERYTHING in London easy to get to. We would stay here again!
We stayed at this cute little basement flat for three nights, and it was the perfect central home base for our family of four to explore everything we wanted to see in central London. The street is quiet, there are many amazing coffee shops and pubs nearby, and it's a quick walk through Fitzrovia to Oxford Circus and the tube. Well-stocked and clean, we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
The ability to walk to parks, grocery store, restaurants and metro stations made it an ideal choice to explore London. The place is definitely "cozy" for the four of us. Wouldn't recommend having a fifth person as the futon was uncomfortable to sleep on, not to mention the small/tight space we Americans are not used to.
Great little flat in a quaint neighborhood. Owner was extremely helpful and communicated in a timely manner. It was perfect for our week stay in London. Lots of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants in the area. Short walk to the tubes and not far from Piccadilly. Loved it!!!
Dan is highly responsive and accommodating. Would not recommend more than 3 people staying here - we are 3 petite ladies with only one carryon and personal item each, and found it quite cramped. Futon was too uncomfortable for my 15 yr old. Location was excellent but there were a few noisy nights - you can hear the neighbors and random helicopter (no idea what that was about) hovering every other night.
My adult daughter and I stayed here for a week for a dad/daughter trip. It was so perfect for two. Daughter slept on sofa bed which was actually really comfortable! I slept in bedroom. Bed was great! Place is just perfect! If you’re looking for a fancy hotel room, look elsewhere. If you’re looking for an authentic stay in London, this is the place. We walked everywhere! Great restaurants right around the corner. Awesome backyard space. Daniel was so responsive and accommodating. Everything was great. Would highly recommend. Loved this place!!
My two other friends and I stayed for four nights at the flat and we had a great time. The space was perfect for us three but it would have been also big enough for five people. The accommodation is beautifully furnished (with games, tv, pictures books), so we actually felt really welcoming and home. It was also really clean, the bed was super comfortable and the terrace was our highlight. Besides the location is ideal to go everywhere in London, we felt safe and public transport is good to reach. The communication for the check in was also great so the check in was super easy. The cleaning lady who was really welcoming, kind and friendly answered all our questions really quick. That was great. Thank you! I can definitely recommend this place and we would always come back when visiting London! :)
This was a great location. That was the only good thing. It was a basement unit that smelled of mold, and was very damp. We were not informed it was below grade. Issues with plumbing/water pressure. Supposed to sleep 5. No way could even 4 people fit in this unit. Very tight with awkward doors, furniture that didn’t fit. Literally crawling over each bother to get to bathroom, kitchen sink etc. the mold was the biggest issues.
Appartement idéalement situé dans une rue calme.eien a redire tout à fait confrme a la description. Je recommande l'appartement de Dan

What makes this property unique
I really hope that you enjoy your stay – it’s such a great area of London so please explore it! My favourite places to go locally include: The Riding House Cafe on Great Titchfield Street – great for lunch and dinner. Kaffeine cafe on Great Titchfield Street – best coffee in town! The Crown and Sceptre Pub on the corner of Foley Street and Great Titchfield Street. Sergio's Italian Restaurant also on the corner of Foley Street and Great Titchfield Street.
