great location on the edge of Oakham, easy walking to shops, cafes, pubs etc.
great location on the edge of Oakham, easy walking to shops, cafes, pubs etc. Road parking was fine but the road is quite narrow with cars parked up both sides. lots of outdoor activities at Rutland water. Only 20 minute drive from the historic town of Stamford.plenty of hot water and house lovely and warm.
Spacious, comfortable cottage on a quite road within walking distance of the shops and eateries of Oakham. Rutland Water is a short drive away with its famous Ospreys, the main reason for our visit doWater us a very short drive away
Nicely put together house. Handy for Oakham town centre, shops, pubs etc. 20 mins to Burghley House. Comfy beds. However, please do provide guests with a bit more info about what’s what in the house…A long mirror in the double room and a loo brush in the bathroom would be useful additions

A lovely warm cottage, in a great location.
A lovely warm cottage, in a great location. A little surprising we couldn’t find an information file, regarding emergency numbers, places of interest and instructions for appliances. Also no welcome pack, not even any milk in the fridge and only one toilet roll for a five day stay!! I least I always go prepared. We couldn’t report any comments as no guests book?
