Pitcairn House is located in a quiet residential street, just off the town centre, there’s ample street parking and two off road parking spaces meaning you can leave the car behind and enjoy this popular market town on foot. The ground floor is home to a modern kitchen with all the mod-cons, a spacious and grand dining room, perfect for a family feast after a day of adventure. On the first floor there is a large comfortable living room with easy seating, stylish interior design and large windows which flood the space with plenty of natural daylight. All seven bedrooms are equipped with a hair dryer, Smart TV, and have beautiful views of the surrounding fells and the Keswick town. This traditional market town is full of great things to discover. If you like culture check out the Theatre by The Lake with award-winning arts and drama on the banks of Derwentwater, where you can hire a rowing boat or even take a dip if you need to cool down. For fun you could try Puzzling Place, a mind-boggling attraction based on optical illusions, or the Derwent Pencil Museum, home to the largest pencil in the world. If you want a wild day out, try The Lake District Wildlife Park at Bassenthwaite, 8 miles, or The Lakes Distillery offering daily tasting and tours, also 8 miles. If you like walking, cycling, and climbing, you are surrounded by some amazing scenery and routes around Latrigg and Catbells, nearby you’ll find Skiddaw, Blencathra and Helvellyn to name a few.
