Just a stone’s throw across the River Teifi is the Welsh Wildlife Centre which is one of the best wetland reserves in Wales, where a huge diversity of wildlife is waiting to be discovered. You may prefer to explore the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre where you can learn how to spot dolphins, porpoise and Atlantic grey seals.
Cardigan Castle has undergone a major renovation project, and with over 900 years of history is well worth a visit. For those keen to explore the area on foot, the coastal footpath is truly wonderful, or inland, explore the Preseli Hills.
