House in Rhone Valley near Ski Resorts

Get your slice of history in this lavish holiday home in Serrières-en-Chautagne, surrounded by views of the "mont Columbier" and hills. With 3 bedrooms, this property is ideal for families or group of 6. It offers a shared swimming pool and a shared and furnished garden to enjoy an unwinding vacation.

The charming Château de Lapeyrouse is located in the Rhone Valley. You will have a superb view of Mont Colombier and the valley. In this region ideal for water sports, you will find Lake Bourget (the largest in Europe, 15 minutes away), Lake Annecy (30 minutes away) and Lake Leman (60 minutes away). The city of Aix Les Bains (20 minutes) is renowned for its thermal baths and its 18-hole golf course. In winter, you can also practice various mountain sports in the ski resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand (one hour).

This apartment is on the second floor of the chateau and is accessible via the lift. This is one of the most beautiful gites in this new series of top-of-the-range chateau apartments.

Geneva and the airport are an hour's drive away.

Pets are allowed if they do not disturb other residents. Outside the apartment, they must be kept on a leash.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
Reservations for groups of persons under 21 years of age are not permitted
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Chateau Serrieres

This is a really beautiful place to stay. When we arrived it took a few minutes to find the concierge because there is no reception area. However, once we did find her, she was very helpful. Some little glitches which were quickly rectified - lamps needed replacing, AC unit in one bedroom didn’t work but was fixed, kettle was temperamental. Small things. Main issue was that the property was advertised as adults only which has an appeal to elderly travellers! There were children staying who were delightful but it’s good to know in advance. The third bedroom was windowless which worked for our group but not ideal and this could be stated on the website, perhaps. In general, we loved it and would go back.
