We had a wonderful time at the Scottish cottage – the property is truly unique. It’s a beautiful and secluded spot surrounded by nature. The cottage is fully equipped and offers stunning views of the surrounding trees. Sheila is a charming and helpful host who was always available whenever we needed anything. We would absolutely recommend this cottage and would love to come back someday!

Beautiful

The cabin was everything we needed. Clean and extremely well stocked. The cabin is in a stunning rural location and perfect if you want to get away from it all. Shops not to far away and an excellent central location for Fort William, Avimore, Fort Augustus and Loch Ness.

Fantastic place in a remote spot

Amazing location right at the end of a glen, perfect for peace and quiet. We left the car at the property and did some local walks, also close enough to be able to explore the area if you wish to do so. Cozy and warm, everything you need for self catering, amazing skies on a clear night.

Perfect Scottish hideaway

A hidden gem, well off the beaten track. Wake in the morning to the sound of a nearby waterfall. Discover wild deer grazing outside your window. Come here for the peace and quiet, or for ready access to outdoor pursuits in Fort William, or both. It's lovely.

Lovely chalet for a week

Before our stay we had very swift and clear communication about our questions and instructions how to get to the chalet. The chalet itself is somewhat outdated but well enough accommodated for a small family to stay for a week. The chalet is very secluded but provides a nice location to scout the attractions within 1,5 hours drive. With Tesla superchargers in Fort William even driving an EV was no problem.

Oak Lodge

Beautiful location…peaceful, quiet and tranquil. We spent a relaxing few days in this lovely, cosy and very comfortable lodge 🤗 Everything we needed was there. Could not fault any part of it…better than we could ever have imagined. We enjoyed long walks with our dogs Onyx and Kuma who were also made very welcome. Sheila is lovely and a fantastic host…very welcoming, friendly and helpful 😍 We look forward to returning in the near future 😊

It was great (but)

When we arrived we were told the water was conternitate and would have to use bottled water for drinking and brushing teeth. In the small room there was a damp problem which was very mouldy and smelly,in the double room there was a very bad smell of damp which was making sleeping and breathing very difficult. Even with these issue sheila did her best to make our stay great to which it was,she cleaned the cabin rooms as much as she could and compensated us with free electric. The question would i stay again (YES) is the answer thanks Sheila for everything great place to stay,oh yes thanks for the wifi you had fitted it make the nights better when you have teenage daughter.Without the issues above the stay would have been perfect

3 generations in our ancestral home

We loved the cabin, and Sheila was so welcoming and kind. The only tiny thing I would change is the water pressure of the shower. The bath was excellent though 3
