It was a beautiful renovated house near a castle and very central to sight seeing. We saw the town of Lucca and San Gimigniano and the Antinori winery among other things. Mr Carmelo was above and beyond a very generous host and made sure all our needs were met. We had a very good and comfortable time in Larciano.

What a sweet, charming place. It is beautifully designed, comfortable, and cozy. Carmello and Leila are warm, friendly , accommodating and helpful. Carmello provided many very helpful tips on dining and things to see. It is nicely located and once you get used to the roads, accessable to many surrounding villages.

Host is amazing!

The property itself was the perfect size and location for exploring Tuscany. It was very clean and had a lot of nice amenities. It was about an hour drive from most popular towns, and had a town close by for groceries and restaurants. The standout, however, was Carmelo who was absolutely fantastic. On the first day he gave us restaurant and winery recommendations, and showed us around the property. He was very easy to get a hold of for questions or concerns. We even had a small medical problem during our stay, and he recommended the medication needed and called a doctor for us in the middle of the night!We had a great time and highly recommend this property for a visit to Tuscany.

Tranquil place in good proximity of all must-sees

We had a great time in Larciano Castello. This beautiful apartment is up on a hill with a castle, a church and a few houses. Well equipped with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, lots of seating, a fully equipped kitchen, a jacuzzi and terrace with a view… Larciano is approx an hour away from Florence, Lucca, Chianti area, Pisa and 90 mins from Siena - so it is perfectly located. Carmelo is an amazing host with lots of tips and regular check ins. If you are looking for a busy nightlife, it’s not for you. If you want to explore Tuscany, eat well and enjoy peace and occasionally cook yourself - go for it. For us - definitely again!
