Situated on the outskirts of the historic market town of Wimborne and just a 25 minute drive from the Poole and Sandbanks coastline, Owen Sound has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms all with complimentary towels and Egyptian cotton bedding. Huge open plan kitchen and snug overlooking 3 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens. Cosy lounge with huge TV and 3 sofas, open plan dining area seating up to 12, 3 ground floor bedrooms and 3 bedrooms on the first floor. Huge garden with large patio area and dedicated pavilion boasting indoor heated swimming pool with shower/changing room.
Plenty of parking in a very peaceful location.

This house was an excellent choice for our mixed aged family group. Space for everyone to either be together or have quiet time on their own. The heated indoor pool makes it an all year round rental choice. Thoroughly enjoyed my 80th bday celebration.

Absolutely beautiful property, immaculate inside and out. The outside space and swimming pool made our stay all the more special and our dog loved it. The layout of the property was perfect for our extended family of 12. Contact with the host was immediate with any question answered within minutes. Well-presented and equipped house. We enjoyed celebrating the 4 family occasions there that week with our family of 10, 6 adults and 4 children aged 10-13 years. We especially appreciated the pool, the generous space indoors and out, the cleanliness, the large kitchen area and equipment. Good location, country walks on the doorstep and nearby towns and coast. We found Wimborne a lovely place to shop and eat out. Christina was easy to contact and very helpful.

Everything about our stay at this beautiful house was perfect, immaculate inside & out, a couple of little things that were sorted immediately by the lovely host, communication was easy & very quick x We had two dogs with us, we took everything we needed but the doggies are also well catered for at this house, a lovely basket in the utility, bowls, towels etc So much space, the kitchen is huge, great for families who love cooking & dancing together as we do, lovely dining space & outside furniture too which we made great use of x Beautifully appointed lounge, we enjoyed this most evenings x The big hit was the pool, we had so much fun, our son is blind, autistic with no speech, he loves being in a pool especially a lovely warm one like this….he didn’t want to get out lol The shower in the pool was used most days by him with dad xx Thank you for the use of your beautiful home, if you like peace & quiet in gorgeous surroundings with family then this is the house for you x

This spacious and comfortable home was perfect for us seven adults and four children celebrating New Year's. The indoor pool was the highlight, naturally. The pool is in a separate, locked building, which was very important to us. It is nicely heated and there were pool toys available. The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The host provided a travel cot and highchair, which were very much appreciated. The grounds of the home are lovely and it close to Kingston Lacy and other lovely places.

Much overdue family get together. Party of 8 adults and 4 children from 4-11. Kids loved the pool and good location for visiting local area. Everything we needed was available.

My family really enjoyed staying at this beautiful home. The pool added wonderful, dependable fun every day for the 4 boys aged 9,8,6,40. Plenty of age appropriate outdoor equipment and lots of yard space including a beautiful secret garden.The house had plenty of dishe/glasses/etc and two fridges. The large jetted thawed out its userd after a long day outdoors at local sites.

Big birthday celebration

Wonderful holiday house with just about everything you could wish for. The pool was a great hit with the children (and big children!) and there was plenty of room in the house for our family games. We loved it.

Friends Trip

We stayed for a long weekend as a group of 12 and we’re blown away by the property. A beautiful venue with lots of socialising space, well equipped and a large pool (which was well heated). Christina was fantastic and was easy to get a hold of if we needed her. Would definitely recommend!

Girls 30th weekend

A group of 12 stayed at own sound to celebrate turning 30 this year- and it was the perfect place to stay. Quietly tucked away, huge gardens, a clean and warm pool and a beautiful house. Even nicer than all of the pictures! The hosts thought of everything and it suited our trip perfectly. Would definitely reccomend to a group of friends or family, hopefully we will be back!

Fantastic Property

We stayed for two nights at Owen Sound and were super impressed with the property and facilities. The house was immaculately clean and the gardens beautifully kept. The house was well equipped and even small details had been thought about. We had a couple of small queries which were answered promptly by the owner. We really couldn’t have asked for a better place for our stay. In fact we were so delighted we were looking to book again for later this year, but sadly the property was already booked.
