Old Barn Cottage is the perfect cosy getaway close to the southern shores of Lake Windermere and the popular 'foodie' village of Cartmel. The private rear garden is perfect for relaxing in the warmer months.

The well equipped kitchen has oak cabinets with electric hob and oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The large family dining table is the ideal place to plan the day's activities over breakfast or to relax with family and friends over dinner.

The cosy lounge has a comfortable sofa and armchairs arranged around the fire place with electric log burning stove and TV. Patio doors open to the gravel patio and private garden at the rear. The entrance hallway is spacious with plenty of space for coats, boots and outdoor gear.

The two bedrooms on the first floor both benefit from lovely views across the garden to the hills beyond. One bedroom has a king size bed, the second has a king size bed and a single bed. The modern bathroom has a large corner shower cubicle, basin and WC.

To the rear of the cottage there is a gravel patio with steps leading up to a large lawned garden with mature shrubs and picnic table.

Old Barn Cottage has its own private entrance.

The utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron is shared with other guest properties in the neighbouring building.

Private parking for two cars is available. There is an electric car charging point which is shared with the neighbouring guest properties.
