Great apartment in convenient location

My husband and I stayed 8 nights and explored Rethymno and the area. The apartment was quiet, clean and well stocked for kitchen utensils and storage. This was our first trip to Greece and being in old town was such a delight. The rooftop with lounge chairs was a private sun deck. The managers of Kristin’s place greeted us in person to show us the apartment. And promptly responded to any question we had. This was just a delightful place to stay- close to shops and restaurants and a quiet place to end the day. We highly recommend this apartment. Great value for the price.

This apartment was one of the nicest that we have staid at. Everything inside is very modern and the rooms are very spacious. There are 3 levels of the apartment so make sure you are good with stairs- the entry way and 1 bathroom on 1st floor, main living area and bedrooms and another bathroom on floor 2, and the 3rd floor is the rooftop terrace. There is no view from the rooftop terrace but the 2nd floor has a small balcony to sit on overlooking the pedestrian street. The shower pressure was great. The company that is hosting is very responsive so n messages, quick and helpful. They let us check in 3hrs early at no charge which was very nice! They provided us some light groceries for our arrival and provided a crib with mattress, and a high chair. We stayed here with our 1yr old and 3yr old- the hardest part about that was that there isn't a baby gate to block the stair cases so you have to be constantly getting the baby away from the staircase.

The nearest airport, Chania International Airport, is approximately 60 km away.

Everything you may need is within walking distance. The house is just steps from bakeries, supermarkets, ATMs, liquor stores, pharmacies, boutiques, shoe stores, restaurants, and bars. The beach is a 10-minute walk from the apartment.

Rethymno is a stunning port town and one of the best-preserved old towns in Crete, retaining its aristocratic character with elegant 16th-century buildings, arched passageways, narrow alleys, and Byzantine monuments. The old town offers a romantic glimpse into the past, where Venetian doors, minarets, and historic streets take you on a journey through time. Numerous restaurants, cafés, and shops await exploration. At the edge of the old town, Fortezza Castle provides spectacular panoramic views, while visits to the Archaeological Museum and the Folklore Museum of Rethymno complete the cultural experience.
