Hugely impressive both inside and out, we find it impossible to do justice to Kamini in these words and accompanying pictures. Simply put, this is a gorgeous property in a quite remarkable location with sweeping sea views from the windows, balconies and terraces that rival any found anywhere on this picturesque island!
Firmly placing the emphasis on easy summer living the interior décor is a seamless union of vaulted ceilings, chunky wooden beams and walls of exposed stone set off by soft, soothing colours and floors of cooling local ceramics. Three sets of French doors on the ground floor (including one set in the bedroom) open enticingly onto the pool terrace inviting gentle breezes to enter whilst at the same time ensuring those remarkable views are never far away.

Equally stylish and tastefully appointed, each of the three bedrooms has independent air conditioning, the double bedroom on the first floor enjoys its own private terrace and three bath/shower rooms ensure a perfect balance of facilities for sharing families or larger parties.

There is surely no more soothing a backdrop for al fresco dining than the azure Ionian waters below, shimmering hypnotically in the sunshine until the sun sinks slowly below the horizon and the lights of nearby Assos assume aquatic twinkling duties.

Nearby Vassilikiades (3.5km) has a good minimarket as well as a couple of tavernas while the scenic hilltop fortress, little cove beach and sleepy tavernas of Assos itself are just 8km away.

The pristine crescent beach of Myrtos has been the location for many a famous movie and the celebrated harbour of Fiscardo, a popular spot with the sailing fraternity, has a pedestrianised waterfront lined with appealing shops, restaurants and cafes. Both are about a 15-25 minute drive from Kamini and really should feature prominently on your list of the top places to visit.
