The property lies within a row of cottages backed by cliffs and facing the seafront with fantastic views across the sea, only a footstep away from the sandy beach. In this remote area, you can only be contacted here if you want to be, making it the perfect family feet up holiday. A tranquil retreat from the rush and noise of everyday life. Available in this historic town are shops, galleries, tearooms and a village pub with meals and drinks available. The village of Gardenstown is a short drive with a selection of pubs, and supermarkets with petrol station, also offering a picturesque harbour. Or take a fantastic trip over to the town of Fraserburgh to find a host of interesting attractions - marvel at the full-size lighthouse built in the middle of a 16th century castle at Kinnaird Head Castle and The Museum of Scotland Lighthouses. This is the perfect area with an abundance of activities and sights to see, or relax unwind and enjoy this lovely location.
The lounge is a stunning family area with cosy furniture, with the kitchen having comfort for 6 guests with a dining table. Bedroom one includes a double bedroom with ample storage, and bedroom two arranged as a twin with two single beds. Bedroom three again includes a double bed, with ample storage and en-suite toilet. Perfect place for holidays

We stayed at the Wavesong Cottage for one week. It's big enough for a family of 5-6 and offers a cosy and spacious livingroom with a fireplace. In case of requests the host answers quickly. Pennan is a small village and the neighbours are very friendly. We enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful part of the country, exceptionally friendly locals- unfortunate that we couldn’t go to the village ‘do’ due to family commitments . Made use of the kayak owned by property. Property needs decluttered of faulty / broken items and basic instructions on how to use electrical items would be helpful. Enjoyed our stay tho

Poor communication-unit was double booked

Property looked lovely. My understanding was the previous renters asked to extend their stay, which was granted, but the property was then double booked and bumped us out. I had emailed the property owner earlier in the day, received no response, and when we arrived, it was occupied. Trying to find other lodging in northern Scotland was a nightmare-it took 3 hours to find and get to other lodging. The owner did apologize and initially offered a free week in winter, then free week in summer, but we traveled from the US and are now limited in available vacation time. Very disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Nice homely property and the host was great with communication and ensuring we had everything we needed. Would definitely book again!
