Enjoying tranquillity, nestled in acres of countryside and woodland, this single-level barn conversion is ideal for larger family groups looking to escape in a wonderful rural location, whilst still being conveniently located to everyday amenities.
Arrival at the barn is via a long unmade road. Do keep your eyes peeled, as you are sure to spot the visiting wild deer, hares or pheasants on your arrival. At end of the drive is Archie’s Barn, a well-appointed and spacious barn conversion with exposed beams and vaulted ceilings to create a light and spacious feel throughout. It boasts open plan, sociable living accommodation, a well-appointed kitchen with breakfast island, a dining area with a wood burner and a sitting area with further wood burner. The living room offers comfy sofas, here you can enjoy quality time together with good conversation or enjoy a film. Unleash your competitive side with a board game, and for cooler evenings, snuggle up by the wood burners within both dining and living areas. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and a wonderful en-suite bathroom. There is a further kingsize bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bunk bed room, perfect for the younger family members, and a family bathroom.
The rear large south-facing courtyard garden has a swing set to keep the younger guests occupied as well as a charcoal barbecue and garden furniture, perfect for alfresco dining in the summer evenings. The large front lawn garden is a perfect spot to enjoy wonderful sunsets and is ideal for spotting the birds and wildlife whilst enjoying their natural habitat. Also benefiting from no light pollution, allowing you to marvel at the big open starlit skies. The barn is home to a local barn owl, a shy resident, sometimes seen using its nesting box at the front of the barn.
Enjoy a stroll along the drive, where you are sure to spot the wild deer and ducks on the natural pond. Just 11 minutes’ drive to supermarkets, shops and eateries. Roar Dinosaur Adventure Park is a must for the children, the Royal Norwich golf course and clubhouse, a 3 minute drive. Pub serving good food and fishing nearby. Norfolk Broads National Park is a 20 minute drive. North Norfolk Coastline with amazing sandy beaches all within a 40 minute drive. Beach 22¼ miles. Pub and restaurant 1¼ miles.
