Stephanie was the sweetest host and so welcoming. She had an amazing booklet with helpful Information and things to do around the town. Although we manly just used the hut for sleeping, the views were breathtaking. I can’t recommend this place enough and I hope we get to come back someday!!
scenery was amazing, property was spotless and very safe. i had my extremely old dog there (he is deaf and blind) and seeing him be able to roam around safely was amazing, it was probably his last ever trip and it was definitely the right choice.
gorgeous fire pit, playgrounds etc, owner left leaflets with info on places to go eat, visit etc and helped with any other questions i had, extremely friendly. we will be back
Four friends enjoyed a fantastic stay in Stephanie’s shepherds hut. It was amazing from beginning to end. Everything we could possibly need and lots of little additional luxuries which made our stay truly magical. Fantastic location, tremendous host and fabulous accommodation. The perfect mix for a perfect stay, couldn’t recommend it highly enough. We will be back 😁
Wish we had booked more nights. Shepherd’s Hut was gorgeous and fully equipped, comfy beds, granola, milk and s’more ingredients. Adults and kids enjoyed it. Stephanie was lively and very helpful. I cannot recommend enough.
This incredible property was all we had hoped for and more! The Shepherds Hut was adorable and so well thought out for their guests! Steph had even turned on the heat and lights in the Hut before we arrived.....so warm and welcoming!!
We highly recommended this charming place to anyone who wants a true Irish welcome!
After travelling in the campervan I booked here for a hot shower and a night of warmth.
Best nights sleep in a great big, comfy double bed.
What a beautiful place. The views were out of this world and the restaurant, Daft Eddies, was a stroll down the lane for some lovely fish.
The location was perfect for getting out on the Lough. Annoyed I didn’t bring the paddle board, access to the water is right on the doorstep however will be back and will bring it next time.
Thank you for your hospitality Stephanie.
