More stores, as well as a pharmacy you will find in Marpissa, the head settlement of our area (15 min by car). As we are approximately in the middle of the road network of Paros, our area is ideal for exploring the island without going long distances. Only 5-12 min distance by car from the beautiful south beaches (Lolantonis, Dryos, Golden beach, Glyfa, Trypiti, Faragas) and 15-20 min driving distance to the picturesque seaside Piso Livadi, the traditional regions of Marpissa and Prodromos and the most beautiful mountainous Lefkes.
The nearest beach is “Lolantonis beach” ideal for a morning swim (5 min distance semi-organised ). In a short distance is the beach “Tripiti” where you can relax in the shodow of native trees and dive from the rocks (7 min distance, food and drink supplies as well as beach facilities are not provided). A little further away there is a magical secluded beach with crystal clear water (9 min distance, food and drink are also not provided, access to this beach is via a path) and next to that is a popular beach called “Faraggas” (12 min distance with sunbeds, umbrellas and beach facilities). On the other side there is a family beach in Dryos village (5 min distance semi-organised) with crystal water and seaside restaurants. A little further away is the endless cosmopolitan “Golden beach” (fully organized with many beach bars and facilities) for comfort and wind surfing (12 min distance). Small estuaries are waiting to be discovered by an amazing coastal walk in the area during twighlight. We really enjoyed our stay at Akkies summer house and our only regret is that we didnt get to stay longer!
Our favourite part of the house is undoubtedly the view and each room and living space has had this in mind with its many different spots to appreciate it from. Its perched on the side of a hill, right at the end and away from everyone else giving you a sense of isolation, but remains conviniently accessible to nearest villages and sights.
Finally, our host was very accomodating and thoughtful which made our stay feel that bit more special.
Hope to be back someday

Dear Haekal, thank you so much for your wonderful review!
It was my pleasure and honour to host such an adorable family 💙
I'm so glad you loved the place and enjoyed your stay and will be more than happy to host you again anytime!
This place is beautiful beyond expectations! The view is simply jaw-dropping. Having dinner in front of the sea and with a view on some of the other cycladic islands was one of the best features of the house…The place is also very spacious and the interiors are gorgeous. Vasileia, our host, has great taste and has decorated this place with so much love and attention to detail…What’s more, the house is located in the countryside in a quiet part of the island which makes it a perfect getaway to wind down and forget all about stressful city life. But don’t be fooled, the house is only a few minutes by car from some of the most beautiful and wild beaches and small villages in Paros. Vasileia and her family have been wonderful hosts and have given us all the great tips to live like the locals. She even wrote all the tips in a beautifully designed book so you always have them at hand! What a pleasure to have stayed at Akakies Paros! Thank you very much Vasileia for having us in your family house, we have definitely brought back home some beautiful memories... Sabina, Isabel & family ❤️
