A Most Momorable Vacation
This property was wonderful. It was a pretty secluded, lake-front property. Having three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, it could easily sleep 10 quite comfortably. A “welcome” basket of goodies was found on the island/bar counter top. Anything you could possibly need in the kitchen was available. Most amenities found in a four-star hotel are also found here, e.g. toiletries, an ample supply of towels, a hair dryer, closets with hangers, etc., not to mention the washer and dryer that came in handy in the middle of our two-week vacation. There was a fireplace, a Television, a DVD player, and a wall full of DVD’s in the living room, as well as board games for all ages. Glass sliding doors in the dining area lead to the back deck and the door in the kitchen lead to a side deck with a picnic table and grill. There was also a firepit off of the side deck for camp fires and s’more-making! The view was incredible—the lake, the forest, and wildlife galore! For the outdoors type, there were waders, fishing gear, and a kayak available. In addition, it was an easy eight-mile commute to the town of West Yellowstone and then to the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park. We thank the owners, Joyce and Kyle, for opening their home to us. They are to be commended for their most outstanding and gracious hospitality. We will recommend this property to friends and family, and would not hesitate to vacation here again.
