Situated in a peaceful Olive grove, totally secluded down a dirt track with only the sheep and church bells to disturb your peace. Beautiful To Petrino is traditionally built in stone with hand made furniture and antiques. The exceptional heated and fenced infinity pool is on a spacious terrace with views that will never to be forgotten. All 5 large bedrooms are en suite and fitted with 5* mattresses. Three can be singles or doubles. A/C and fans. Well equipped kitchen and outside built in BBQ. variety of outside games. Manager to look after you to give any help you need.

We are a large family of three children and about to be 9 grandchildren. Michael is still working as a private client lawyer and Sue generally keeps everything together and is in charge of the villa. All the family love their holidays at To Petrino and it is regarded as a second home not just a rental. We began building To Petrino in 2000. It was a great adventure which took 3 1/2 years to complete. Built with local stone by local stone masons and bespoke wood work for the windows doors and shutters. All 5 bedrooms are a similar size, avoiding the problem of some guests feeling they have been given a lesser room. We furnished the villa from bespoke made teak furniture from Indonesia and have collected antiques and collectibles from around the world giving it an eclectic look. We have imported 5* hotel Hypnos mattresses down and feather pillows or synthetic on request. White pure cotton linen which is changed twice a week.
The infinity pool is on a lower large terrace so that it can be gated for child safety. The pool can be heated in cooler times by a heat pump at extra cost. The pool enjoys fabulous views of Nidri below, the main land mountains with islands in the bay. The sun rises above the mountains in the morning is a very special time.

Why they chose this property

This property has stood the test of time and has been rented for 20 years. Never with a bad review, it is kept at a very high standard. Shopping and first meal a and wine can be ordered so you can start you holiday immediately. The villa is looked after by a manager who is on call to help at any time. 4 days a week cleaning on all weeks except July and August when there is every day cleaning.

What makes this property unique

To Petrino is so well situated. It has the peace of the hills, is close to shops, tavernas bars. Boat hire is just in Nidri. There is a village taverna which is 10 mins walk. Due its central position on Lefkas , it is not too far to either visit the interesting town of Lefkas Town or beach for Kite surfing. or travelling south to the wind surfer beach of Vassilikki
