Everything you could want for a London stay. Clean, bright, spacious, convenient to tube, good shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed staying at the property. Would certainly use it again in the future and recommend it to others. One suggestion is to provide more towels. We were at the house for 7 days with only one towel per person. There were 6 adults. The washer and dryer were adequate, however the washer would only handle 4 towels at a time. We all used our towels 2 times then washed them so we had to plan our days around the washer and dryer.A minimum of 2 towel sets per person would be a great help.

Dear John,
Thank you so much for your kind feedback - we’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay and would choose to stay with us again!
We really appreciate your suggestion regarding the towels. I completely understand how having additional sets would make things more comfortable, especially over a longer stay. We’ll certainly take this on board and review our current setup to see how we can better accommodate guests in the future.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience, and we hope to welcome you back soon!
Best wishes,
Lara
Fantastic Location & Beds Undermined by Sparse Furnishings and No Coffee
First, the good: The location is great. It’s a short walk to two Underground stations and the high street, which has lots of restaurants and shops, and the neighborhood is quiet and feels very safe. It was a great site from which to explore the city. And the beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever encountered in a rental.Next, the not-so-good: The house is sparsely furnished and barely decorated, with mostly bare walls and empty bookshelves, so it did not feel very homey. Supplies were lacking—no kitchen staples, not even salt; only two spare toilet rolls (for seven people!); laundry and dish detergent doled out in baggies of three each as though they were being rationed. We were provided one towel each and admonished not to take any more from the linen closets (though we never saw any extras, anyway).Worst of all, the coffee machine took only very specific pods, none of which were provided to us, nor even a hint as to where to buy any (the Tesco Express on the high street certainly didn’t carry them) so we were unable to make coffee the whole time we were there. There were none of the welcoming touches one usually finds in a rental house. We felt like we were there on sufferance. For that—particularly the coffee issue, which was appalling—I’m deducting one star.

Dear Craig
We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Hamilton Gardens!
That said, we’re sorry to learn that certain aspects of the home were not as welcoming or well-prepared as expected, and we regret the difficulties you experienced in sourcing compatible Nespresso pods.
As part of our standard approach, we provide basic amenity packs to help guests settle in upon arrival and allow time to purchase any essentials they may need during their stay. Unfortunately, our rental homes do not include pantry items or cooking supplies, though we understand how these would have made preparing meals more convenient. We’ll discuss your feedback with the owners and internally with our team, as we’re always looking for ways to enhance the guest experience.
Overall, it was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you back for an even better stay in the future!
Best wishes
The Ivy Team
