SAPPHIRE SERENITY Million Dollar Views!

Don't hesitate to come to St. Thomas. It feels like summer down here! Just fabulous. Come and enjoy our elegant beachfront condominium remodeled with high end finishes in a unique West Indies chic style. The property is located on the second floor of E building, hanging out over the beach only feet from the water. Open the sliders and it feels like you are on the water and the island of St. John is within reach. The long island view is tremendous, not only of St. John, but also the British Virgin Islands and the boating activity of Pillsbury Sound. It is the perfect place to experience the best of St. Thomas. Come here and soak up the sun, the views, the serenity. Finally, you can just simply relax.


This dwelling, in Building E (considered the best for the long island view and easterly breeze) has undergone a complete renovation. Some of the highlights are:
New floor tile in porcelain
All fresh paint and custom ceiling trim molding
New designer lighting and lamps
Glass door shower enclosure with designer tile
Custom cabinetry in both the kitchen and bathroom
Custom built in closets with shelves
Minka high speed fans
Stainless Steel kitchen appliances
Designer kitchenware- all very high end, including Cuisinart cookware

location is perfect. Sapphire is a quick cab ride to Red Hook. the immediate marina beach area has enough amenities that you actually don’t need to leave if you are ok eating very meal out. host was accessible when needed. the pool area and beach are clean. cruise ships do bring people over for beach days but they are concentrated down by grill and bar. the unit is perfect for a couple, the sunset is viewable from bed. The unit could use a little updating but perfectly fine for a lovely stay.

We loved everything about this property. It was very well appointed with everything needed; it was very clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the full face snorkeling masks. All communication with the owner was quickly answered. This unit is in building E which was perfectly situated for us. We enjoyed the porch with views of the pool and St John. What a view!

Our first trip to STT was absolutely amazing and our stay here was perfect - from the quiet location on the water but away from the beach crowd to the wonderful amenities - it was all great! We are already planning a return trip, and this is the best condo to stay in for us, close to Red Hook and with a beach onsite...there are so many beaches to explore both in STJ and STT, so renting a jeep was the best bet for us...we loved our trip!

This is paradise!

This property is just as pictured, only better. The view is amazing & the beach is beautiful. The balcony was wonderful morning & evening. It was our favorite place to watch the sun rise but we could see it from our bed too! Can’t wait to return!

This was a wonderful, quiet place to stay.

It was everything expected plus. The pictures are accurate. This was very roomy, the tv was a smart tv. We were able to log in to our favorites. The bed was SO comfy. It had eveything we needed amd the snorkel equipment and chairs were a nice luxury. Shannon was quick to respond and I will definately be back.

We have stayed at several different condos on Saphire Beach and we would highly recommend this property. It’s very clean, updated and has everything you need to have a great vacation. Kitchen is stocked for making meals, the bed is very comfortable with extra linens. Tv, CD player and internet all worked well. The views are amazing and snorkeling is on of the best spots on the island. Owner responded very quickly, she was easy to work with and very helpful. We will definitely plan to stay at this property again.

The beach and views are beautiful. I visit the island frequently and I have stayed at Sapphire Village before so I knew the beach would not disappoint. I found the unit to be spacious but pretty run down.Bathroom is very old and shower faucet was not functioning for temp control. Kitchen was also very old and could use a refresh. Water damage marks all over the ceilings and vents for air were dirty and rusty. Several Outdoor patio chairs were broken so careful sitting down.This place could be really special if it was updated.

Sapphire Beach relaxation and rest

Couldn’t have been more perfect. The condo is fabulous! Decorated to the max and very comfortable. The mattress is awesome. The sunrise didn’t bother me, but my friend is not an early riser. Shades might help a bit. 😉. Thanks for renting to me. I definitely will be back. We frequent St Thomas and this was the best!!

Spectacular View

The view of St John was best all the buildings. There was only a small rocky beach in front which we appreciated since it meant it was quiet and more private when we sat out on the deck. We rated it a 4, however, because this unit could use some maintenance. There were several things that were broken, damaged or missing. That said, we would stay here again, and the owner was very responsive.

My wife and I met at Sapphire Beach 22 years ago, This was our first trip back in 12 years. The description of the property is more than accurate. Shannon has done a wonderful job of decorating and furnishing with more than you could ever need. We felt so at home that one day I never left the unit. It is at the far end of the resort, so there is a walk to the main entry, services and the main beach area. Close to the pool, marina and laundry. The cab drivers all dropped us off right at the building. A wonderful view and amazing sunrises.

Couldn’t have asked for a better first visit

This was our first visit to St. Thomas, and it was just perfect. The room was exactly as described. The bed was comfortable, the a/c was super cold, the ceiling fans meant that I didn’t have to travel with a fan to sleep, the view can’t be beat. Within the resort, we really liked staying in building E. It is was a short walk to the swimmable/snorkelable section of the beach without the noise of the music from the restaurant. But we loved having easy access to the restaurants and bar right on the property. We didn’t have to leave at all if we wanted didn’t want to. The host was super communicative and very helpful. We will be back as soon as possible.

Serenity - A Wonderful Getaway

We stayed at this condo for a week in December. It was clean, lovely decor, well-stocked, and very comfortable. This was our second time staying at Sapphire Beach and we plan to return. This condo was closer to the marina and we enjoyed watching all the boat activity. It was also very handy for the sunset cruise we went on. The kitchen was well-stocked with the pots, pans, utensils, etc. we needed to make most of our meals on site (I enjoyed not having to get dressed up and go out again after a full day of excursions.) The view of St John at night is beautiful - you can even look out from the bed and see the water and lights sparkling in the distance. Speaking of the bed, it was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on!

Hi, everyone. I'm Shannon, one of four owners of this place in paradise. Here's our story:
When Gary stood on the balcony at Sapphire Serenity for the first time and looked eastward, he felt a little chill run up his spine. "This is it," he said to himself. This was the fulfillment of a 30-year dream: to find a place in the tropics that promises paradise 365 days a year. In pursuit of the perfect location for a vacation home, Gary had been island hopping in the Caribbean for several days. Now, still standing on the balcony, he grabbed his phone and called his business partner, Geoffrey. "You gotta see this," he said. And, as they say, "the rest is history." But a more apt phrase might be "paradise is yours, come make memories!"
Busy with careers, kids, relatives, and obligations, the four of us have few "windows of opportunity" to enjoy our place in the sun. Until we have more time to be here regularly, we invite you to enjoy living on the beach a mere 30 feet from the turquoise water directly in front of our vacation home.

This property is jointly owned by two couples, Shannon & Geoffrey and Gary & Patty. We are all from Ohio and started eyeing this unit in February of 2017 when, you know, it's really cold outside! Now we have a solution to that next year! Why wait until then, you ask? We all have jobs! So, in the meantime, why not share it with you? We think you'll enjoy it and we will be responsive as "hosts." We all travel a lot and know how important it is to have our expectations met when we are staying in places other than home. If you need something, have a question or concern, we are just a text away!

Why they chose this property

Why this property? The view! It really is breathtaking. And, this location really has it all. You have a beach and pool just steps away. Supplies and restaurants and night spots are nearby. There is a marina steps away. Water-based activities (snorkeling, fishing, boating, shelling, walking, etc.) are very easy to do. Want a quiet romantic getaway? You can have it here. Want to get away from it all? Easy, just do it!
