Giovanni is an amazing host. He was there to welcome us when we got there, answered all of our questions quickly and he left us anything we needed (coffee, food, drinks). Also, the place is close to everything. I could not recommend Giovanni and his apartment more.

Peaceful with a fantastic view

Modern and sleek kitchen, large terrace with a great view. It is a few minutes walk to markets and excellent bars and restaurants. The host provided the opportunity to go on day trips and was very helpful. Would stay again.

Excellent penthouse in Catania

Giovanni was a fabulous host with many extras left to make our stay comfortable. Don’t be fooled by the look of the community below. We never felt unsafe and were so close to markets duomo and great shopping. Beautiful stay, beautiful home, beautiful host!!

If you don’t look around you are fine, it’s on the last floor and no elevator, not for older people, very cold in the winter and very small water heater to take a shower. Owner was very helpful and pleasant, just was wrong time to visit

Modern flat with Beautiful views

The actual flat is amazing. Very modern, everything is new, the sundeck is a highlight. Very comfortable bed, nice kitchen, three TV’s. Johnny was very friendly, very responsive and extremely helpful. The area took some adjustment for me. I would say for American travellers, a bit “seedy” of an area. After our initial night arrival, some adjustments, neighbourhood was fine…but very dirty. Parking limited to street parking but managed to find a spot each day. A few blocks from anything and everything. If this unit was in a cleaner environment, it would be booked solid. Overall, absolutely worth the stay, the experience and Johnny is top notch.

Almost perfect

This penthouse is a very well renovated apartment equipped with absolutely every needed amenity in an old building. Most comfortable bed. Very efficient shower. Very clean. The owner Gianni supplied water, juice, bread, and jam for our 3-day stay, which was most appreciated upon our late arrival for the following morning. Gianni was most cooperative, helpful, keeping in touch throughout our stay and helped carrying our luggages up and down the 3rd floor apartment.Unfortunately, on the last day, the weather deteriorated and became cold (8-16C) and humid and there was no adequate heating equipment (compared to Canadian standards). Also the surrounding buildings are nearly crumbling although we felt safe and secured at all times; however and more importantly the apartment is well located at a walking distance to most attractions, We would be delighted to deal again with Gianni, a gentleman who cares, but in warmer days.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in einem renovierungsbedürftigen Viertel

Neuwertiges, modern eingerichtetes Appartement mit großzügiger Terasse. Leider war jedoch vom Hafen ein permanentes Brummen zu hören, das vor allem nachts störend war. Ansonsten perfekt.

Schönes modernes Penthouse

Modern eingerichtet, viel Fensterfront und große Dachterrasse mit Blick auf Hafen und Ätna. Die Straße unten ist leider recht heruntergekommen, Probleme gab es damit aber keine. Betten bequem. Der Vermieter war sehr bemüht, gab viele Reistips per Whatsapp. Schön war auch, dass ein Erstbestand an Kaffee, Wasser und Gebäck vorhanden war.
