To describe Griante who better to enlist than none other than Longfellow wrote of this pretty village in 1879. I ask myself is this a dream? Will it vanish into air? Is there a land of such supreme and perfect beauty anywhere? Holidaymakers who have visited the region will no doubt bare testimony to the statement. Cadennabia and Griante forms one town, Cadennabia on the lake and Griante, a residential area perched 50 metres up the hill looking down on the lake.

A spacious, luxuriously furnished ground floor split level Lake Como apartment at Griante Residence, with private terrace and garden, BBQ, communal pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. The accommodation consists of two living areas, one on each level; lounge and dining seating for eight; kitchen; shower and WC on each level and three bedrooms, one on the ground floor and two on the lower level.

Schöne Wohnung mit Einschränkungen

Die Lage des Objektes ist nicht ideal. Der Weg sowohl mit dem Auto als auch zu Fuß ist sehr steil und eng. Da Parkplätze direkt am See oft Mangelware sind, ist man in Griante selbst oft zu Fuß unterwegs. Einkaufsmöglichkeit befindet sich in der Nähe. Dort gibt es auch frisches Brot, Obst, Wurst und Käse. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung in Bezug auf Geschirr, Besteck und Gläser ließ leider bei 6 Erwachsenen zu wünschen übrig. Die Spülmaschine musste oft 2x/Tag laufen. Des weiteren fehlte eine Kaffeemaschine. Es gab nur einen Espressokocher. Die beiden Schlafräume im Untergeschoss sind leider richtige Kellerräume. Es musste sehr gut gelüftet werden. Auch das untere Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Schlafcouch im Untergeschoss müsste erneuert werden. Die Gartenanlage und der Pool waren dafür sehr, sehr schön.

Tolle Wohnung in super Lage, perfekt für 4 Personen

Super Lage nur wenige Gehminuten von der Villa Carlotta, perfekter Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge, z.B. der Hike „Greenway Lago di Como“ (sehr zu empfehlen). Aber auch ein perfekter Ort für gemütliche Tage am Pool. Griante ist eher ruhig, wenige Minuten entfernt liegen Menaggio und Tremezzo. In 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreicht man sich die Fährboote nach Belaggio und Varenna, oder mietet sich selbst ein Boot (definitiv ein Highlight!) Die Wohnung ist bestens eingerichtet und ausgestattet und alles ist in tadellosem Zustand. Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und reagiert sofort, wenn mal etwas ist. Der Pool ist super schön, allerdings etwas zu klein, wenn man lange Bahnen ziehen möchte. Insgesamt absolut empfehlenswert, wir würden definitiv wieder kommen.
