This spacious home is situated on 2 levels. First floor with living room with 2 comfy sofas (please ask to view photos) dining area, fully equipped kitchen from dishwasher to utensils. Living room opens to patio doors to reveal a panoramic lake view where you can dine alfresco and steps to a lower exterior terrace for sunbathing (2 sun loungers) Immaculately kept bathroom with bath and wc. In winter the wood burning fire makes for cosy nights in. Tastefully decorated double bedroom with ample wardrobe space. Steps to the ground floor area take you to another bedroom. This room can also serve as a secondary living room as it features large 2 quality sofa beds which can sleep 4 guests, ideal as a family bedroom. A flat screen TV and DVD are also available in this bedroom. A Twin room with ample wardrobe space plus bathroom featuring a shower and wc is also located next to the family bedroom on the ground level.

Ruime woning met mooi uitzicht over Como-meer

Fijne ruime woning voor 6 personen met mooi uitzicht over meer. Van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijne week gehad. Zwembad is niet recht onder appartement zoals foto doet vermoeden maar is 50m verderop. De hostess Julie is goed bereikbaar via Whatsapp en geeft antwoord op vragen en voorziet je van leuke toeristische info. Kleine onvolkomenheden (stoel buitentafel + 2 loungestoelen kapot, 2 ramen beneden konden niet open) konden helaas niet direct verholpen worden ivm drukte hoogseizoen, maar dit wordt vast snel opgelost voor de volgende gasten. Kortom: fijn rustig verblijf voor ontdekken van Como meer.

Nette Wohnung, genialer Blick auf den See, 10 min Entfernung zum Wasser, ruhige Lage. Pool wird in recht großer Appartement-Anlage geteilt. Betten ok, Ausstattung der Küche auf Ikea-Level, könnte ein wenig mehr Liebe vertragen. Wohnung ist etwas merkwürdig aufgeteilt, 2 Schlafräume liegen im Untergeschoss, nur 1 davon mit echtem Tageslicht. Beleuchtung etwas speziell, Energiesparlampen brauchen etwas, bis sie wirklich etwas bringen. Insgesamt hatten wir aber einen tollen Urlaub, super Restaurants in der Umgebung und ganz viel Bella Italia.

We enjoyed our stay, however few things could be improved for a long term stay like ours, 3 weeks. Only 1 set of sheets for master bdrm, so had to make sure washed sheets on nice day so they could dry and be used. Lighting in master bath very dark, had light over sink go out early, reported and it never got changed. Cushions on 2 deck sun chairs could be replaced, didn't use grill, too unstable. That said, it was a nice condo, very equipped kitchen

A very modern clean duplex flat with lovely views of the lake. Good sized terrace to dine. 5 minute drive to Menaggio so ferry access was easy. Minor issue on arrival sorted efficiently by manager. Property is exactly as described on website and we really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely apartment. Very roomy and well equipped. It's fair to say it's 2 bed not 3 bed apartment but has 2 sofa beds downstairs which are fine to sleep on. Loved having a rooftop pool to enjoy with my family.

Stayed 1 week in Feb 2018 as family of 4. The apartment is located above a quiet village and is spacious and well equipped for cooking and relaxing. We were met, on arrival, and were shown all of the properties amenities and provided with some useful local knowledge. The property is very clean and well maintained, including the communal areas. The local area is quiet, and the property is well located for trips to Menaggio, Como and excursions into Switzerland. The adjacent village (Aquaseria) is within walking distance and has two popular restaurants - Creme Caramel and da Luigi. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Spectacular views and scenery

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful holiday staying at this residence in San Siro. The apartment was just as advertised and extremely well equipped, The home located over 2 levels gave our extended family of 8 real privacy as we could both enjoy effectively two living rooms. As a previous guest mentioned, we also found the home was more spacious than I expected, which is always a pleasant surprise as often you take a leap of faith when booking over the net. We will miss waking up to those magical 180 degree lake views.I would love to return in the summer when the pool is open. A special mention and thank you to Barrie and Julie who could not do enough to help us on arrival to ensure we were settled in. Creme Caramel pizzeria was our favourite pizza we have tasted in Italy so it was a real find to have this restaurant in the village, thank you Julie for your recommendation. We loved San Siro and found it far less ouristy and more authentic than Menaggio however it was only a 5 minute drive so we could visit when required however the local bars, restaurants and mini markets here did us just fine to stock up on fresh fruit, bread, milk and ingredients to enjoy some italian cooking at home. We enjoyed walks around the area with the cool, crisp air and winter sun and are already planning to return in the summer and take in the italian sun and take a dip in the pool! Thanks for a memorable stay.

Oh how we will miss that view!

I think if the villa had been found lacking the view would still have given this a high score but the villa itself is one of the most spacious and well equipped we've stayed in, and we have stayed in quite a few. The views out over the lake are superb. One of our favourite evenings was sitting, post BBQ, with glass f wine in hand and watching an amazing thunder and lightning show over the lake and mountains. For an early riser, my morning coffee watching the sun come up over the lake was a joy. For 4 adults the villa was more than enough room and it would happily suit a family of 6. We couldn't think of a single thing in terms of equipment or attention to detail that hadn't been considered. Fantastic. Menaggio is just 10 minutes away and there are small shops in the nearer town as well as an old style corner shop with bread, milk etc just 100 yards walk away. You will need a car but there is even a garage for you to park in and keep it in the shade. The pool is great, and has its own fantastic views, although the 'pool rules' need to be noted for families with young kids. Inflatables are banned and and It even says that only 4 people from any one apartment should be at the villa at any one time!!! How that's policed I don't know but the visitors book does make mention of a grumpy old man in one of the apartments who is known to moan about the noise. Would we return - definitely. Finally a quick thank you to Brian who was very helpful when we were booking and to Roy who was great at showing us around the villa when we arrived. Great service. Oh, and have I mentioned the view yet?

Lovely pool apartment with stunning lake views!!!!

We had a great time at this apartment.This was our third trip to Lake Como in the last 10 years, but the first time that we have rented an apartment with a pool, which was lovely & remarkably quiet.It seems that the pool is shared between quite a few apartments, but it seems a lot of them are owned by Italians who only use them a few times a year.....we had the pool to ourselves most days. The apartment is very nice & homely & the views are stunning from the balcony & kitchen.....a lovely way to start the day, just spending a few minutes gazing across the lake. San Siro is a 10 minute drive from Menaggio, so very convenient for getting to Bellagio, Varenna & the towns to the south on the popular western side of the lake, such as Tremezzo, Lenno, Sala Comacina & Argegno. San Siro is less touristy than Menaggio, but a bustling and interesting place in itself & the Pizza we enjoyed at 'Creme Caramel' was the best that we have had on the lake & as good as any other throughout Italy.....& we have eaten a lot over the last 37 years!! The fantastic views from the elevated position of the apartment mean that you really do need a car here, but the winds & twists on the 2-3 minute drive up the hill are all part of the fun of the holiday. Great apartment with fantastic views

Had a great time at the apartment, the views over the lake were fantastic. The BBQ was great, especially with an Italian beer or three! The small restaurant in San rezzonico was just a short walk away and served up delicious local food before a walk back along the lake and back up to the apartment. Bike hire in Lenno was a great way to explore the lake and burn off the pizza! Overall a great apartment made even better by having a pool :)

Location, location, location

If you want to enjoy one of the best views in the world, looking across Lake Como with the mountains as the backdrop then this is it. The property is the perfect location for Lake Como based holidays, It is spacious, well equipped and close to the pool where you can idle away the afternoons when not going out sightseeing. We loved our stay from the moment we arrived when we were met and shown round to when we left. Simply the best.

A fantastic apartment with beautiful lake views!

My family and I have had an absolutely fantastic holiday staying in Apartment Residence Romina. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, and the layout was perfect for my family of six. Having two different levels was a real bonus. The home was a lot more spacious than I expected with the open plan living room and kitchen. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The balcony has spectacular views of the lake, and one of our favourite evenings was when we had a BBQ at dusk. We loved relaxing in the pool after a day of sightseeing, and there was hardly ever anyone there, so it was like having our own private pool! I tried to read on the sun loungers, but it was hard to look away from the incredible views. The area was extremely peaceful and felt really safe. We had a car, so it was easy to get to all of the different areas on the lake. Barrie, the property manager was friendly and extremely helpful, and I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone planning on visiting Lake Como. Hope, from the UK

We felt at home!

We stayed in the Residence Romina Apartment in September and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was well equipped and we tried our hand at Italian cooking a few times over our stay! San Siro was the perfect place for us to stay as it was not too touristy and it was nice to wander down to the lake and have the stone beach to ourselves in the evening. You can walk down the road to the lake through little walkways. We would definitely recommend Crème Caramel Restaurant on the lake front for really good pizzas. The Romina apartment was a good choice for us because there is a double room and bathroom upstairs and a twin room and a ‘family’ room with two sofa beds and a bathroom downstairs so we had plenty of space. It felt like home by the time we left, we can’t wait to come back in a few years!

The home is located in San Siro, a delightful and authentic village close to Menaggio. There is a real local feel to the village which benefits from the local atmosphere,away from tourist masses of Menaggio yet close enough to reach the ferry and lido, just a 6 minutes drive.
Meandering cobbled paths, beach to access the lake for a swim or just to relax and take in the sun, a local mini market and green grocers with superb local produce and seasonal ingredients, authentic wine and cafe bars and the best pizza on the lake at Creme Caramel to name just a few highlights, just book well in advance. A 5 minute drive will take you to one of our favourite beach restaurants on the lake at Veranda, great for a bbq, sunbathing on the beach or a lazy Sunday lunch.
