We are very disappointed with this experience and caution future travelers when booking this property. Clearly my anger about our experience is still fresh and it must have come out in words in my first submission that made the sensors deny to publish it and returned it to me. I'll clean up my language but fellow travelers do read between the lines. We are not sure why this host is considered a super host. We selected this place because of the large terrace and location in the center of Bari. The host did not show up to give us access to the apartment. We received no call, no email, no returned text from the host or her representative. We were prompt for our 16:00hr check-in. Last resort was to call VRBO/Expedia to report the problem. VRBO ended up cancelling the reservation because they too could not reach the host. We were left on our own to find new lodging for 7 days, at the last minute the last minute, and trying to book after 17:00hrs, on a Thursday, headed into the busy weekend. Ended up 80 miles from Bari and it was much more expensive. Very unkind behavior for this host to leave us stranded without any notice. Of course, we cannot and would never recommend to travelers to book this property.
