Snuggled right up to the gondola, our sunny slope-side condo in Zephyr Mountain Lodge sits at the base of Winter Park mountain. Grab your skis and poles from your own private locker and you're on the mountain in seconds — it really is that easy. Ideal for a couple or a younger family, the condo looks straight out at the mountain from a bright, cozy 590 square feet, and sleeps up to five.
You're on the fourth floor of an elevator building, with a full kitchen, WiFi, and laundry right down the hall. The resort is just outside the door: the hot tub, on-site bars and restaurants, the ski rental shop, and — very important on a powder morning — a Starbucks steps away. On-site parking also available.
In winter, a tubing hill and skating pond are a short walk away. From the balcony you can watch your crew ride up the Zephyr Lift in the morning and carve down Hughes on their way home at day's end.
When the snow melts, Winter Park becomes one of Colorado's best summer basecamps. You're about 45 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park, with alpine trailheads and Trail Ridge Road within easy reach. The mountain right outside turns into Trestle Bike Park — lift-served downhill riding for every level — and trails are everywhere, from mellow riverside paths to high-alpine climbs. Add scenic lift rides, fly fishing, and golf nearby, and you can fill a week without driving twice.
First chair or a summer of trails, the goal is the same: a spotless, easygoing place to land so you can spend your time on the good stuff.
