About this property

Pen Dragon - 2 Bedroom Cottage - Pen-Clawdd

Pen Dragon is a beautifully appointed holiday cottage with a mixture of traditional stone walls and modern styling. It has an amazingly light an airy feel to it with lots of natural light when the sun comes around to the large French doors in the main open plan living area.

Inside you will find 2 lovely large comfy leather sofas that each sit 2 people. Creating a living room space backed with traditional stone walls and complete with a coffee table on a rug as well as your flat screen tv and Blu-Ray player. Free Wifi is available throughout as well as panel heating in every room.

The main open plan living room space has a dining table that seats 4 and a lovely modern white high gloss kitchen complete with your usual inventory, including a kettle, toaster, microwave, cooker, hob and a large fridge freezer.

Moving through the cottage you will find the bathroom has a corner shower, toilet and hand basin. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a bunk bed that has a double sized bottom bed and the master bedroom has a king size bed. The master bedroom has some beautiful furniture in it, as well as a set of French doors that can be opened up to let the morning sunshine flood in and bring some of the beautiful scenic grounds in to greet you.

On site you will find a large hot tub that is communal between the cottages as well as some beautiful woods that are ideal for exploring. There is plenty of green space here and if you are looking for a peaceful stay where you can relax and listen to the sounds of nature, then this is the place for you.

Blaen Cedi Farm is set above the famous village of Penclawdd, which is situated in beautiful North Gower coast, with its extensive salt marshes and dunes.

The cottages are nestled in amongst green farmland, woodland and fields, and offer delightful views of the Lougher Estuary and Llanrhidian Marshes. Many of our guests return time and time again to savour the peace, tranquillity and nature that makes Blaen Cedi so appealing.

We are pleasantly secluded, but not remote and it is a perfect base to explore the famous Gower beaches (some carry awards for beauty and cleanliness), Cefn Bryn, famous for Arthurs’s Stone and it’s picturesque hikes, Mumbles or the bustling cities of Swansea and Llanelli, packed with culture and of course shopping. The Welsh Coastal path is easily accessed from the village providing a gateway to the North Gower. There are extensive hiking and cycling routes at your fingertips. For those with more time, our position on North Gower also means that there is also easy access to the delights of Pembrokeshire.

SA4 3LX is unique to the Farm. Type this into your GPS and you’ll get to us.

On GPS, once close, select the route option through Penclawdd village, as the road is easier.

Leave M4 at junction 47. Follow signs for Penllergaer then signs for Gowerton. You will pass a Harvester pub and go under a railway bridge before you reach traffic lights.
Turn right at traffic lights then straight through second traffic lights. The road signs for Gower at both lights. Travel 3.5 miles to Penclawdd.

Turn left at the mini roundabout opposite Gower Timber and follow the road to a junction at the top of the hill.
Turn left at junction and approx 100yds along there is a small lane sloping down towards the left.

Take this turn, go approximately 150 metres until you see a stone wall and electric gate on the left. The wall has a nameplate “Blaen Cedi Farm”.

You can buzz on the gate and it calls through to the house where we can open the gate for you.
