Had a good stay at this great location apartment. It Is kind of a quirky apartment, but it is in a fabulous location, stores, next-door, restaurants, nearby, and easy access into the heart of London, both by public transportation, and also by walking. There is street noise as it is on kind of busy street, but we used a white noise app which helped - it’s hard to avoid street noise when you’re in the middle of the city. Hosts were responsive. Would stay again.

Freezing water for this first day. The check-in staff wasn't friendly and did not inform of us of anything when we arrived, regarding how to use certain features of the apartment.
As advertised, walking distance to many attractions, and pubs/restaurants. Hosts were great and friendly. Would stay here again

Great location and easy access to the Waterloo Station, food market and restaurants. However, the pictures of the unit were not accurate. Lots of damaged areas, drywall needing to be fixed, cracked bathtubs, no bath mats, and very hard beds. Also, the dryer does not work and there is no drying rack, so this made it frustrating when we had already been travelling for a week. If you’re looking for a good location that is walkable to most locations, then this works. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay, I’d get a hotel.
This 2bd/2bath 1st floor flat with lift access accurately fit the description and photos however has suffered from heavy use and poor maintenance. The location is excellent with short walk access to 3 main tube entries: Waterloo, Southwart, Blackfriers. Very close to Thames River. We felt safe. Host met us at the door with keys and introduction. 4-stars because with some care, better maintenance it could become 5-star.
Had a great time staying in the rental apartment. Host and the staff are great, easy to communicate with, responding promptly to every needs and requests. The place is vety close to convenient stores where you can find everyday needs, restaurants, coffee shops and to a lot of tourist destinations. Last but not the least, very comfortable place to stay. Will definitely recommend to friends.
We had a great time staying in this appartment. It is very well located in central London, including restaurants and Waitrose nearby. The appartment is clean and functional. Noise from the street is present.
Has what you need for a great stay in London. The location is ideal, close to London Eye, underground, grocery store, pubs, and a Pret downstairs so you can grab a coffee in the morning. The only thing was noise at night (Pub downstairs). Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. Host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. Would recommend.
This place is in a perfect location. Our family of 6 slept nicely. Beds are ok. We arrived early and they accomodated to us and let us check in early which was spectacular considering our 13 hr flight with luggage. There is a grocery store nearby, waterloo station, imax movie theater close by, a bar and diner right next door, and coffee shop.

The rooms were spacious but each person was given only one towel, no wash clothes, no hand towels, and only one bathmat for two bathrooms. There was a sign posted in both bathrooms to keep water off of the floors. No bathmat was provided and the shower curtains only covered half of the bathtub/shower. It was really hard to keep water off of the floor. There was no broom, mop or vacuum to clean up spills/messes on the floor. Needed more chairs for sitting on.The location was great for getting to most of the sites using the Underground, trains and buses or walking.
15 minute walk to the london eye. next door to a couple of pubs and coffee shops as well as 2 markets. we frequented the asian market quite a bit and i ate a lot of vegan kimchi. close to the blackfriars train stop and right near the themes water walk with shops and restaurants.
the flat is large with large rooms. the bathtubs are also big.
we had a leak in the bathroom and the owner sent someone to fix it quickly. very responsive on the vrbo app.
i did find a couple of things odd, the renter provided bath towels but not hand towels or wash cloths. i was not fond of the shower head and it came off and hit me in the face. i would have liked a cofeee maker and some ice cube trays. the couch could be bigger, or have a 2nd one for the family to watch tv. those are all very minor complaints though. overall it was a good stay, reasonably priced and comfortable.

Not what we were looking for
We experienced travel delays and the hosts were very responsive to our communications. We actually missed our first day and they offered to check us in at 10:30 am on the next day. When we arrived, we were met by someone from the coffee shop next door. The flat had obviously been recently cleaned and the bedding was freshly laundered. However, there were obvious water stains on the ceiling and a strong smell of mold in the kitchen. It was unseasonably hot in London and the flat had no AC (which we knew ahead of time) but the windows in the bedroom opened up to an adjacent rooftop. My wife and children did not feel safe leaving the windows open while they slept. The building is essentially vacant aside from a flat on each floor. This was not the vibe we were looking for. It was also a good 10-15 minute walk to the TubeIn fairness to the host, we did not give them an opportunity to address our issues. The safety and convenience issues were not something they could fix anyway. We had arrived on a trans-Atlantic flight and we needed to make alternate accommodation plans ASAP. That said, upon advising the host that we weren’t going to be staying at the property, we received no contact from them. I would not recommend this property for a family, or in the summer months where AC may be required.4.5/10
