A lovely cottage in a great place.

The cottage is spacious yet cosy with comfortable settees, dining table and well equipped kitchen area. We do a lot of walking and appreciate the handy cloakroom where we can leave our boots. Parking is just outside the front door. The village shop is two minutes walk away and sells most things.

The cottages were absolutely gorgeous, spotlessly clean, comfortable and relaxing.

The location is perfect for a short break and to explore the Northumberland coast. Everything you could possibly need is either on the doorstep or a short drive away. Embleton Bay is just stunning, wish we could have stayed longer.

A wonderful cottage in a beautiful location.

The cottage is perfect in everyway. No issues at all. Comfortable. Clean. Excellent showers. Layout really good with downstairs toilet and good size utility room for boots and coats. Welcome dogs! Location is just wonderful with the best beach a short walk away. Lots to do in the area. We are repeat visitors and are already planning our next trip!

The house is perfect and extremely clean. The property manager is very responsive. The house is ideally located for exploring the area. The village is lovely and close to the local beach which is beautiful. We will return.

Great spot, great facilities, spotlessly clean.

The two double rooms were huge, spotlessly clean, en suite and very comfortable. The lounge/kitchen/diner was really well equipped and spotless again Overall it was a magnificent place to spend a few days whilst exploring Northumberland. A perfect location for our short golf break

We enjoyed the nearby coastal walk as well as golf at Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh. The history of the County and its castles is intriguing not to mention Lindisfarne and the Farne Islands. The sunsets provided wonderful backdrops to the remarkable structures. I have stayed in the village on two previous occasions and found it a suitable location for trips further afield, such places as Goswick and Alnwick.

We were very pleased with our stay , very comfortable and had everything we needed.

The location and setting is excellent for exploring Northumberland . It is close to places to eat , the bus stop and the beach . The accommodation is very clean and well-equipped . The two - bedroomed cottage had 2 en-suites +a downstairs toilet . The utility area is useful for walkers . We were there in a cold spell and it is was nice and warm in the cottage . Also nice to be able to take the dog .

Superb location/accommodation, good facilities

We stayed for 3 nights but would have stayed for longer work permitting. Second stay in the same police House Cottages always well stocked with adequate equipment for our stay. Great Off Road Parking. Booking system easy to access, also key code system for immediate access on day of arrival. Superb location for whatever you choose to do. Nearby Dunstanburgh Castle Hotel on the doorstep for meals if you dont wish to totally go self catering. The meals are fantastic and value for money. Cosy

Excellent right from booking to check out. Stayed a number of times and will keep coming back.

Location is excellent with a shop and pubs across the road (Greys Inn - great food) and only a short walk down to the golf club house (excellent breakfast) and the beach. The cottages are all exceptionally clean and comfortable with everything you could need whether that’s cooking a meal or sitting outside in the sun. We will keep coming back!
