The Arboretum

A beautiful 18th-century Tuscan residence nestled in the Casentino Forest Park in Poppi, featuring a garden of centuries-old oak trees and various arboretums. During your stay at L’Arboreto, you can enjoy breathtaking landscapes, take full advantage of the opportunities the area has to offer, and immerse yourself in its history. <br>In fact, you can explore trails and paths—whether on foot, by bike, or on an e-bike—which we’d be happy to help you plan, or take a mental journey back in time by visiting the marvellous Castello dei Conti Guidi and the other medieval villages that dot the valley.<br>During your stay, you can also take cooking classes, where you’ll learn to prepare traditional dishes using produce from our vegetable garden and orchard—always at your disposal—which will give your dishes an authentic, locally sourced flavour. In addition, you can savour the diverse flavours of Tuscan wine and visit the family-owned winery. <br><br>As you enter through the automatic gate, you’ll be welcomed by a spacious garden overlooked by the property. The agriturismo is divided into two apartments, the Granduca and the Leopoldo, which offer a perfect blend of classic Tuscan and modern styles. <br><br>The Granduca apartment is spread over two floors: the lower level features vaulted ceilings and terracotta floors and includes a living room, kitchen, and a billiards room with a library; the upper level is entirely dedicated to the sleeping area.<br>The Leopoldo apartment is also spread over two levels: on the ground floor, you’ll find the kitchen and a bedroom with an accessible bathroom. The upper floor houses the sleeping area and a small living room.<br><br>L’Arboreto can accommodate up to 16 people in total.<br><br>All bathrooms in the apartments have been completely renovated and are stocked with complimentary toiletries.<br><br>Both apartments feature a kitchen equipped with dishes, glasses, silverware, and cookware for the entire group. You’ll also find a refrigerator, an electric oven, a microwave, an electric kettle, and a coffee maker. <br><br>Free Wi-Fi is available at L’Arboreto.<br><br>Hilly and mountainous landscapes frame the beautiful enclosed garden, reserved exclusively for guests of L'Arboreto and featuring numerous relaxation areas.<br><br>You can choose to cool off by the pool, prepare delicious meals using the barbecue area, or simply relax in the shade of the many centuries-old trees in the various arboretums.<br><br>The estate is complemented by numerous fenced-in plots with olive groves and fruit trees, where you can take long walks and let your four-legged friends run free. <br><br>L’Arboreto covers a total of approximately 1,000 square metres indoors and 1 hectare outdoors.
