There are two bus stops directly outside Crestview complex (#78 and #79) that will take you anywhere in Mammoth Lakes for free. Hop on the Blue Line which runs every 15mins (from mid-Dec to April) and arrive at Canyon Lodge in 10mins. Or if you wish to drive up to Canyon Lodge it's a minute away by car.
In the winter time step into a warm condo. Our recently install gas fireplace allows us to remotely preheat the main space prior to our guest arrival. The bedrooms have wall heaters, and a space heater is available for the loft area, if needed. Although the loft is heated fairly well through the main living room.
Amazing views of Mammoth Rock can be seen from the two balconies of this corner unit. This unit has an exceptional floor plan with an open common area and bedrooms that offer the perfect amount of privacy. The first floor has two bedrooms plus two fully renovated bathrooms. The master bedroom features a king size bed and an ensuite bath. The second bedroom on the first floor has a queen size bed with a balcony to enjoy the mountain views. The second floor is an extended loft with another fully renovated bathroom and two seperate sleeping quarters. One dedicated area features a queen size bed that can be partial close off with a barn door. The children's loft area has twin bunk beds and two more twin beds. Be aware that the children's loft area is opened to the living space on first floor. Railing is installed for safety. All bedding is brand new and updated to provide a clean and comfortable night sleep.
The newly remodeled kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances and quartz countertop. A fully stocked kitchen includes several amenities like a crockpot to help whip up some delicious family meals while enjoying a day on the slopes. In the morning wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee with our Keurig machine, or coffee pot duo. K-Cups can be purchased at the local supermarket. A gas BBQ grill is located on the main balcony and can be enjoyed anytime of year.
There is excellent Wi-Fi for staying connected. All of the four TVs (main area, master bathroom, kids loft, and upstairs queen bedroom) are Amazon TVs and have Netflix included. In addition, the living room and upstairs TVs also have local analog cable TV.
The condo units are set up in a hotel style, with indoor hallways and the added convenience of underground parking. There is one assigned covered parking space so no need to shovel snow off your car in the winter. ***BE AWARE THAT PARKING HAS LIMITED CLEARANCE. AN SUV WILL FIT IN PARKING SPOT HOWEVER AND SUV WITH A SKI RACK WILL NOT FIT***. If this situation arises there are several outdoor parking spaces for oversize vehicles. In addition, Crestview has a number of covered guest parking spaces, on a first come first serve basis. Guest can park is any parking spot that doesn't have a number on the wall.
There is also a small locker to store a few items close to your parked vehicle, like ski gear. Bring your own pad lock for security.
The condo unit is located on the second floor so there are TWO flights of stairs when coming from the parking area. ***IN THE SUMMER, FEEL FREE TO UNLOAD EVERYTHING NEAR THE FRONT DOOR OF THE COMPLEX BEFORE PARKING IN THE DESIGNATED UNDERGROUND PARKING SPOT.**** This cuts the amount of stairs you will have to climb.
There is a recreation room above the manager's office with a large flat screen TV and pool table, sauna and two outdoor hot tubs (the 2nd hot tub is by the far end of building C)
