The location of this property and check-in process was amazing! The layout of this house is perfect and the creature comforts are spectacular. The host responded immediately any time I had a question. That being said, I’d like to note a few things for future guests. I don’t want to deter guests from booking this property, just to make them aware of a few things before they arrive. First off, the house does get warm during the summer time if you don’t feel comfortable sleeping with all the windows/sliders open. Day time temp for our stay averaged at about 88 degrees so the weather was a bit above the norm. Just keep the fans running and open the windows once it starts to cool down and you’ll be fine if you want sleep with the sliders closed. It would be nice if there were portable AC units available for the bedrooms, especially if you don’t feel comfortable with windows staying open while you sleep. The rest of the house (first floor) stays pretty cool, except for the master bedroom, with the windows closed.Second, the kitchen has a bit of a smell, which I think is due to the stove vent setup directed down into the crawl space. It’s probably more prevalent during the summer as things start to warm up. To be fair to the host, I didn’t report it because I felt it wasn’t something that could be immediately fixed due to the way the vent was set up. Just pack a few air fresheners to keep in the kitchen. All in all, great stay. More of a 4.5 overall rating than a 4.
