Spacious apartment in a really great location to access the area and or base before heading out in the highland way walking trail. We were two couples staying and the apt was nice and spacious. Parking was easy and close by.

VRBO offered a not as advertised property No internet available I had to contact the property owner during the stayVRBO insisted I deal with WhatsApp My aunt with a traumatic brain injury survived cancer during the last year She was unable to use her laptop or watch TV during the stay She uses these things as part of her treatment I was on the phone daily during the stay We waited for repair that never showed Unacceptable It was safe, not necessarily comfortable to stay. Located centrally People with a conscience would not do this to others They did this to my disabled aunt and I I am friends of locals. Seems like not a one off3x times of the reservation nightmare where the link didn't work that they nearly left us with no where to stay Unresponsive staffPaying the difference after unsatisfactory performance I guess

We were very disappointed with this property. The listing photos did not accurately represent the condition of the accommodation we arrived to.The carpets throughout the unit were heavily stained, and the kitchen floor was sticky on arrival, giving the impression that the property had not been cleaned properly. There was also a notice attached to the door referring to a temporary letting, which was unexpected and concerning.The bedroom had holes in one of the walls, one of the decorative knobs on the bed was broken leaving an exposed fitting, and there were exposed electrical wires, which raised safety concerns.Unfortunately, communication with the property manager was poor and non existent once we raised our concerns.Overall, the property was not as advertised and fell well below the standard we expected based on the listing. The owner clearly took ad vantage of the West Highland Way Race start in Milngavie and Stayz let them.
