This beautiful, stylish spacious house (sleeps up to 10) is perfect for family and group trips. Stunning panoramic views of Bere Island and Bantry Bay.
With superb facilities and close access to the town’s facilities, yet suitably out of town to be both private and quiet for a relaxing stay and to enjoy this unique and special part of Ireland.
This house can accommodate large families or friend groups. Ample space and a variety of reception rooms and dining areas.
Wheelchair access
Large kitchen-dining-living space allows everyone to sit together when cooking, eating or just socialising.
The lounge with Smart TV and a wood/turf/coal burning stove offers a very cosy space to hunker down when needed.
Multiple reception rooms/spaces make it easier for families to enjoy their own space being together or apart.
Four large, well furnished and equipped bedrooms make for comfortable and spacious sleeping accommodation for up to 8 adults (plus a sofa bed for 1 or 2 small children). A travel cot is also available if needed.
The master bedroom has a Super King size 6' bed and en-suite bathroom both enjoying sea views.
Bedroom 2 is a large double bedroom with a double bed and a sofa-bed (suitable for 1 or 2 small children). This bedroom also enjoys sea views.
Bedroom 3 is a double bedroom with a double bed and views of the Caha mountains.
Bedroom 4 is a ground floor bedroom with en-suite bathroom and access to a private patio area, all of which are wheelchair accessible and enjoy stunning sea views.
With comfortable sleeping capacity for up to 10 people, this house will accommodate large families or friend groups. There is ample seating and a variety of reception rooms and dining areas.
This is also a great house for children – they will love exploring it and will have lots of room to play indoors and outdoors with toys, books and board games available.
Where wheelchair accessibility is required, there is a beautifully designed ground floor double bedroom with a private ensuite bathroom. From this bedroom there are wide double French doors that provide access to a large patio with scenic views of Bere Island and Bantry Bay.
Wheelchair access in to the house is via a ramp with wide double-door access to the Sun Room.

Externally, there is ample car parking for several cars. There is a large playing area/field next to the house and with the vehicle gates closed, this is fully fenced in. During some times of the year sheep are present in the field immediately below the house which is interesting for young children.
The house is just 3km from Castletownbere, the largest fishing port in Ireland. Castletownbere is well served with supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and pubs and is on the famous Wild Atlantic Way.
The location is great as a base for exploring the whole Beara peninsular with the towns and villages of Allihies, Eyeries, Glengarriff and Kenmare all worth visiting in addition to Castletownbere.
