About this property
Shepherds Hut - UKC6774
If you are looking for a slice of the ‘good life’ this is most certainly the spot. A stunning shepherds hut awaits with fabulous attention to detail and quirky features.. All on the Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: (No TV), Woodburner
Kitchen area: Induction Hob, Fridge
Bedroom area: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Additional external kitchen with combi microwave/oven/grill, fridge, freezer and dishwasher (private). Balcony with sitting-out area and barbecue. 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There is a pond, 25 yards from the property.. Situated facing a pretty pond in your private area, with no other shepherds’ huts, your neighbours are the resident ducks, chickens and quirky geese; beyond in the field are donkeys, tame sheep, and two Shetland ponies. The owners have taken great pride and genuinely want you to have a fantastic stay. You’ll be provided with a selection of chicken eggs, and you’ll know which chicken laid your egg as their names will be on each one! A bottle of prosecco, bara brith, Welsh cakes, tea coffee sugar, and milk, along with slippers are provided. For a small additional cost fresh bread and scones are also available.
This quirky space includes a compact kitchen area with a toasty log burner and a full-size modern shower. There is a double bed that conveniently folds up to reveal cosy seating space with a compact table. An adjacent pony box has been converted into a kitchen with a range of appliances, plus a large sink and a cupboard with additional plates, dishes, utensils etc. The owners are very much animal lovers and whilst you are welcome to bring along your furry friend, they must be kept on a lead due to the free-roaming ducks.
The fantastic island of Anglesey has 125 miles of coastline to explore, and you’ll be spoilt for choice along the way for which beaches and famous sites to visit. There are miles of coastal paths to explore where you can take in the magnificent scenery whilst spotting the local wildlife. The fabulous resort of Benllech is a firm favourite for families and couples wanting to enjoy a coastal break. The Blue Flag beach is just down the road, with its resident seals that frolic along the coastline helping to create a holiday to remember. Here you will find plenty of cafés and restaurants. Nearby Red Wharf Bay also offers a good choice of eating establishments. Explore all that this lovely island has to offer including the Anglesey Sea Zoo, Pili Palas Butterfly Palace, and Plas Newydd. Newborough Forest is a must-visit while on the Island just under thirty minutes drive away, one of the most important red squirrel conservation sites in the United Kingdom. The forest backs onto a beautiful beach, you can walk from here onto Llanddwyn Island (Ynys Llanddwyn), a magical place located at the far end of the beach near Newborough Warren.
These properties can be booked together to accommodate up to 5 guests.
