Bumblebee, pet friendly apartment in New Mills

Bumblebee is a comfortable, peaceful holiday home for up to 6 guests and their pets. You'll find bees in the artworks and ornaments. New Mills has good links with Manchester and Sheffield, with New Mills Central train station just 5 minutes away.
There is a large living/dining room, fully fitted kitchen, 3 bedrooms and bathroom with a shower over the bath.
An ideal base for exploring the Peak District, visiting Lyme Park or just experiencing our lovely town. We also welcome dogs into Bumblebee which has an enclosed garden.
The garden is a sun trap and has a barbecue and a playhouse for your little ones.
The Torrs apartments provide modern, warm, and comfortable accommodation in the Heart of New Mills.
They are quiet and private spaces but within 2 minutes walk of cafes, shops, pubs and takeaways.
There are great transport links with trains to Manchester and Sheffield and buses to Buxton, Stockport, Macclesfield and Hayfield. There are walks in all directions from the apartments that will take in the local hills, woods, rivers and canal.

They are on the first floor of a former pub that is now an amazing zero waste shop. There are stone steps up to them, with a solid handrail, so please bear that in mind when booking.

It has proven to be a popular place for friends and family to come together and spend some time exploring this delightful region. We offer a warm comfortable flat where you can feel at home and relax.

There are three self-catering apartments - Bumblebee, Dragonfly and Ladybird –
Wifi, Netflix, electricity, heating, linen and towels are all included free of charge. They all have a fully appointed kitchen, with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine (not a drier).
There are no sneaky extras.
Open all year round.

Bumblebee is a pet friendly three bedroom apartment, themed with bees, sleeping up to 6 people. It has an enclosed garden with play house.

Dragonfly is a spacious four bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms that sleeps up to 9 people. It also has a dishwasher. The bi-fold doors open out onto your private terrace.

Ladybird, has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4 with a sheltered terrace garden.

They can be booked together for larger group, accommodating up to 19 people.

perfect place to stay for our family visit

The rooms are immaculately clean and delightfully decorated along the bumblebee theme! Our three year old loved looking for all the bees, and was quite excited about the playhouse too. The garden is lovely - a little green oasis.

Perfect place for us and our dogs

Tranquil courtyard garden that was lovely to sit in and perfect for our dogs. Owner went to a lot of trouble to provide the sleeping arrangements that we asked for. This is a good base for visiting New Mills or exploring the Peak District.

We enjoyed the millennium walking trail, and being close to Lyme Park. Drive to Buxton not far and an enjoyable day out. Great to have Netflix when we wanted to come back the accommodation to rest! My children loved the little Wendy house with play food so much, as well as the bee themed decor. When I emailed Richard or saw him in passing in the town he was very friendly and approachable when I had questions re recommendations for somewhere to eat. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Ein ruhiger, sauberer Ort mit viel Platz zum Wohlfühlen und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht!

In "Bumblebee" war war alles sauber und gut ausgestattet. Sehr gefreut habe ich mich über die Kontaktaufnahme durch den Vermieter bereits vor dem Aufenthalt, der extra nach unseren Wünschen betreffend der Betten nachgefragt hat. Die Betten waren wirklich toll, ich habe ausgezeichnet geschlafen! Sehr schön fand ich auch, dass sich das Thema "Bumblebee" durch die gesamte Einrichtung gezogen hat. Hier herrscht eine positive Stimmung! Danke Richard!

Richard and Hazel bought the Torrs as a closed pub in 2013 and set about a complete refurbishment. It was built around 1840 and sits at one end of the main shopping street in New Mills. The 3 apartments opened to guests in 2016 and have been delighting guests ever since. The Torrs apartments - Dragonfly, Bumblebee and Ladybird - warm and comfortable places that you will feel relaxed in. They have tried to think of everything that you would want on a holiday to make your stay as straightforward and stress-free.
