Good journey in the flat and we are happy to find it.
Positive points:
- Great communication with owner (quick response to our questions)
- Cosy falt, clean with all needed inside
- Very close bus to Hendon central where we then took the Northern line (30 min max to be in central London)
Things to know:
- no parking space but we parked across the road in "Parking at any times" spaces.
- the road was a little noisy, but that didn't bother us (we were very tired after our days in London).

Nana ist - obwohl wir ihn nicht persönlich kennengelernt haben und der Kontakt ausschließlich über WhattsApp stattfand - der freundlichste und fürsorglichste Gastgeber, den man sich vorstellen kann. Die Wohnung entspricht den Fotos im Netz. Das Treppenhaus ist allerdings recht schäbig und auch nicht besonders sauber, aber das hat uns nicht weiter gestört. Störend fanden wir allerdings den Straßenlärm, der leider auch nachts kaum nachließ. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut, direkt gegenüber ist ein kleiner Supermarkt, in dem wir sehr gerne eingekauft haben. Hendon hat einige nette Pubs und Restaurants (ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Bus von der Unterkunft entfernt) so dass man abends nicht unbedingt ins Zentrum fahren musste, um einen netten Abend zu verbringen. Insgesamt haben wir uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt.

la résidence semble etre abandonné avec une cuisinière dans des escaliers tres etroits qui nous rendu la montée des escaliers compliquée avec nos bagages.

Thank you for the feedback on the cleaners not being thorough with the dusting. I'll follow that up. They definitely did come though because they made the beds and laid out the fresh linen. Thanks for confirming the flat has been recently renovated. My apologies on behalf of whoever left out the stove in the stairway, it must have been a nuisance. I wish I could control the behaviour of people in building. Unfortunately, all I can guarantee is the apartment and it's contents. I hope the research I did for your husband was helpful.
