Nice place, not understanding.

The place itself was nice. Perfect location, check in was easy. Apartment was decently clean. Ac did not work. Best it got was "not" hot air. but the windows opened and the view was spectacular. Host refused to refund a nights stay when the booking was made improperly. Possibly my doing. possibly system error. But the booking was made a day too early and we wouldn't be there for another full 24hrs. This was brought to the host and Vrbos attention and the host flatly refused to change the booking even at Vrbos request. This is ridiculous in my eyes as no one was going to be there for another full day.
