WOW - like staying in a park: beautiful lakefront, private heated pool in Tampa!

4 bedroom/office, 2 bathroom in peaceful park-like setting on a lake - convenient to everything - downtown, Busch Gardens, shopping, recreation - so much in walking distance. This is the perfect place to relax and enjoy all Tampa has to offer. Take out the paddleboat to explore the lake, or use one of the bikes to ride around the neighborhood!

Please, no more than 8 guests total.

This house is very unique - lots of outdoor space with lush landscaping provides privacy in the middle of convenience. Screened pool and deck are equipped with gas grill, dining set and outdoor wetbar stocked with serveware for BBQing. Great split layout offers spacious king master suite with French doors that open to pool and an en-suite bathroom with two sinks and a sunken Roman tub that has a skylight, built-in bench and floor to ceiling window overlooking a secret garden. 2nd bedroom has queen bed. Two twins in the 3rd bedroom are ideal as either two separate beds or can be easily pushed together to make one king, and contains a large TV with cable, a dvd player and XBox (with games). Family room couch pulls out to queen bed. Office can convert to an extra private bedroom with a double pull out futon bed. Our well stocked kitchen is a chefs dream - with tons of useful tools.

This conveniently located home has everything you need for a perfect vacation or business stay. We have a 48 inch flat screen TV with cable, DVD, and wifi in the family room. We have a computer and printer for convenience in the office. Amenities in walking distance include a golf course, basketball and tennis courts, dry cleaner, coffee and bagel shop, gas station and convenience store, tailor, vet and more. It is a quick drive to downtown, beaches, military base etc. House is fully furnished.

Another great stay!

My husband and I come down each year and love this home and Carrollwood. It is an excellent area for us and our two pups. The house is very centrally located, yet the neighborhood is quite and peaceful. There is a bit of airplane noise if your not use to it, but after visiting for a few years, we hear it less and less.

Easy location to multiple places. We visited the zoo, Steinbrenner field, St Pete and many others. After being gone most of the day it was great to come back to a home that is peaceful and a location that is great! We walked the neighborhood many times…oh, and there is a place with multiple pickleball courts about 10 mins away!

Well maintained house with a beautiful view

We had a great time in Marianne’s house. The house was well maintained, with all equipment on board with a beautiful lanai, pool and incredible lake view. Morning there were squirrels running around and birds were singing. Off and on there was some noise from airplanes. We were taking good care by our host Sonia, Thank you! We recommend this house for families who love to enjoy their holiday in the Tampa area. The house is central to the beaches as well as Tampa Bay and Busch Gardens. We would love to return one day!

Property inside and out not clean at all. Gutter are running over. Lots of broken items. In major need of new paint. Property owner and manager are very nosy, they like to invade your privacy and I was referred to as being untrustworthy. Worst property I have ever rented off of vrbo site. Pictures are very old and don't show the uncleanliness.

This is simply retaliation because we requested some of the guests' security deposit for extra cleaning, due to guests bringing more pets than approved during reservation discussions. Guests were angry they were caught attempting to hide extra pets. When property manager went to welcome and make sure guests had everything they needed, guests repeatedly avoided her. After multiple attempts to arrange to meet guests, property manager stopped by the house and guests blocked entrance to the house and would not let in property manager, in effort to hide extra pets. This was the "invasion of privacy". When owner called to ask guests about extra pets - this was being "nosy". Other authentic and recent reviews say house is very clean and well cared for. House has been painted inside and out in the last year. Furniture and other amenities are regularly replaced and new photos are taken as items change. Following is the e-mail from the guests after they were caught with extra pets: "I do apologize about the second dog. That was a huge mistake on my part, and I do apologize deeply for not relaying that info. My phone number is ---------- if you need to contact me. We've been gone a lot with sight seeing and things to keep the kids busy. Also we've been in the pool and may have missed you being at the door. My husband was only blocking the door to prevent the dogs from running out. And he was being leery of letting a stranger into the house. Please just call or text me to let me know when you plan another next visit."

Tampa Pool House

This was our second time coming to this home. We love the Tampa area and the location of this property. It is close to everything we need to stay for a few weeks. We love the heated pool and large master shower. The plane noise does get a little excessive when you are trying to relax but we've experienced that all over Tampa! It is nice that the house has two workspaces for my partner and me to work remotely while enjoying some warmth!

Unexpected Tampa visit

Very comfortable spacious home with much seating area. Pool & back pool patio very accommodating & maintained. Very nice new grill. Kitchen lacked some basic cooking utensils but well stocked with cooking seasonings and other cooking assist items, i.e. oils, cooking spray, butter, etc. Bikes available, needed air in the tires but the bike tire pump wouldn’t operate properly. Very nice home/property.

The house has everything to enjoy the stay. The kids enjoyed very much the pool during our stay even if it took a couple of day to get accustomed with the heating system. The view from the terrace is amazing.

Nice house in a quiet area

The house was nice and perfect for our stay. Plenty of supplies were on hand for any beach trips or day lounging in the pool. It was peaceful at nights and the sunsets perfect for a dinner by the pool. The house is near several food options and shopping centers.

Lovely villa in beautiful and convenient location

The villa is spacious, and very well equipped. There’s plenty of room across the property, with comfortable relaxing areas in the main lounge as well as the other rooms. Bedrooms were also spacious and the beds very comfortable. The villa is probably due a refresh as some of the areas are a little tired, but nevertheless all in good serviceable order. The pool area was lovely, nice and clean, large enough to have a proper swim, or just relax. There’s so much space around the pool and super views across the lake, lots of green planting and trees, often with local wildlife running around. A few other reviewers have mentioned the aircraft overhead. Being so close to Tampa airport, of course there are quite a few planes landing or taking off, the direction seemed to switch every few days. The planes are quite loud, and at their peak every ten minutes or so. Everyone’s tolerance is different, but for me, it wouldn’t put me off returning, overall it’s a beautiful location, and so convenient to lovely Tampa, Busch Gardens and the beaches of Clearwater.

Wonderful Stay and Retreat

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. I had a business trip and wanted my family to have a wonderful time as I attended the session. It was indeed a treasure surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere. The photos don't tell the story of the true beauty of the home. Also, the house was stock with all the necessities for a kitchen. The owners and property manager are lovely, always offering assistance if needed. I would highly recommend and will return myself only for a more extended visit.

Relaxing home!

We enjoyed this lakeside home in a quiet neighborhood. Clean home with nice pool. My husband and I spent a week at this house which was located near my daughter's home. We look forward to returning with our granddaughter this fall. Great set up for a family.
