A rural idyll in a beautiful area that is full of wonderful excursion destinations. A newly renovated farmhouse on the owner's farm surrounded by rolling pastures and lush forest groves. Very close by are two small fishing lakes, one of which has a nice little swimming area. A perfect accommodation for the nature lover. From the entrance you enter directly into the heart of the house. There is a modern, open kitchen, a spacious dining table and a relaxation area with a sofa bed and seating. The room has an appealing mix of modern and retro decor. The bathroom has a shower. The sleeping loft has good height and accommodates two single beds. The large terrace has both a dining table and comfortable seating as well as a charcoal grill. Here you can enjoy both your morning coffee and lovely barbecue evenings. With something refreshing to drink, you have a lovely view of the paddocks around the farm. On the farm there are both sheep, chickens and cats, which gives you an extra peaceful view and a natural calm. In the nearby lakes Iglasjön and Sämsjön there is a certain fish stock. Fishing license required. In Lake Sämsjön there is a small local swimming area with a jetty and barbecue area. A short drive away is the small town of Skällinge and has a larger public bathing area with a sandy beach, jetty, jumping tower, etc. The area where your cabin is located is idyllic and has many nice cycle paths and nice places to visit. There are several golf courses in the area, the closest is Harabäcken's golf club. Varberg's popular summer town is only about 12 km and Gekå's large shopping center in Ullared is only a short drive away. A little further away there are Åkulla beech forests as a very attractive area. Here there are many nice places to visit and many hiking trails. Visit the Tomb of the Buckstone Man and the Talking Stones of Bexel. Varberg is a real summer town with a throng of people, taverns, cafes and dance halls, everything that belongs to a summer town. The massive Varberg Fortress guards the entrance to the harbor and can be seen from afar. Go on a tour down into the bastions and casemates, follow along from the 13th century to our own time. Good to know If you add bed linen to your booking, one large and one small towel per person is included.
