This rental home was perfect for our family's 4-day trip to Dublin. It was excellently located, clean, perfectly appointed, and had a great lay-out for our group. I wish we'd been there longer. But I highly recommend it!

Glad you enjoyed your stay, you're welcome back anytime!
Folks, this place is great. Two beds and baths are downstairs and the living and kitchen is upstairs. Fantastic location. There are neighborhood restaurants just a 5 minute walk away. The city center/St. Patricks/shopping is an easy 20-30 minute walk. I really don't have anything negative to say about this property or location. We walked everywhere (although took a taxi from the airport). The apartment had everything as promised (hair dryer, washer/dryer, coffee maker, etc). I highly recommend this property. Abby

Assigned a different, WORSE accommodation but charged same price
I had booked this property but there was a plumbing/heating problem before we arrived that forced the property managers to move us to a different property. They assured us it would be an upgrade at no additional charge. They sent us a link to photos of the new property but I was not able to access the photos. The basement unit they moved us to was terrible and not at all an upgrade. The unit looked like it had been a business office converted into an apartment. It was dark, moldy, damp and very uninviting. The apartment had a very awkward bedroom layout (bedrooms separated by a long, creepy hallway) and awkward bathrooms (one bathroom had just a shower and sink, the other bathroom had just the toilet and sink). Beds were extremely uncomfortable—really hard with springs stabbing us in our backs. —as if we were sleeping on box springs. This is not an apartment worth staying in. I contacted the property manager requesting a discount on our stay since this seemed far lower quality than our original reservation, and they have ignored me. Stay away!

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay — especially as this wasn’t reflected in your initial messages to us. Upon arrival, you commented on the lovely location, and during your stay, the only issues raised were a stopped wall clock and a socket (which was simply powered off and resolved easily).
Due to an unforeseen plumbing issue at your originally booked property, we acted quickly and offered you a full refund if you preferred not to proceed. After sending you photos of the alternative apartment, you confirmed you were happy to stay there.
The apartment — a fully refurbished former office — is spacious, well-equipped, and regularly receives 5-star reviews. We’ve since upgraded the beds for added comfort.
To clarify: the property has two bathrooms — one with a shower and toilet, another with a shower, plus a separate WC.
No damp or mould was reported during your stay, no evidence was provided afterwards, and none was found during inspection.
Your compensation request was only made after your departure, which meant we were not given the opportunity to address any concerns during your stay.
We welcome constructive feedback and take action when its justified, but it’s important that reviews reflect the full and accurate context for future guests.
