These stunning cabins are nestled in the picturesque Oxfordshire countryside, close to the pretty village of Kirtlington, a beautiful and nostalgic slice of rural England. Steeped in history and surrounded by stunning landscapes, Kirtlington offers a peaceful and idyllic retreat from city life, only 1 hour from London.

The stunning Mirror Houses are located in woodland in a tranquil area of the farm next to a lake designed by Capability Brown in the early 1750s. With their mirrored exteriors reflecting the trees and nature around them, they blend into the woods allowing guests to experience this wonderful, peaceful spot almost becoming part of their natural surrounds but without forgoing modern comforts.

There are 7 individual cabins all unique and finished to a high standard, each sleeping 2 adults for a romantic retreat away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

THE CABINS

Each cabin is nestled in its own private space with decking carefully built around the surrounding trees, complete with a BBQ, outdoor furniture and either a private hot tub, outside bath or sauna. Inside they come with wifi, air conditioning and heating, a bathroom comprising of a shower and loo, a very comfortable king size bed and kitchen including a fridge, induction cooker, toaster, kettle and kitchen essentials and a Bang and Olufsen sound system.

Welcome goodies await your arrival and the owners are happy to arrange delivery of local produce to your mirror house which can be arranged in advance of your stay. The lodges are set around a lake with a large dining table from which to enjoy the views; the perfect place for a larger gathering.

Fishing may be organised in advanced should this be of interest. The lake is home to carp, tench, bream and perch.

The cabins are available to hire individually for 2 adults - £285 per night.

Or all together as a whole site sleeping 14 - £1900 per night.

It is an ideal place for a company team building weekend or family reunion.


TO NOTE

The mirrored glass is transparent at nightfall, for extra privacy each cabin has floor to ceiling curtains.

A car is recommended to access the lodges.


NEARBY

The farm which is also home to Kirtlington Park Polo Club, has restarted a stud breeding flat race horses on the same land where the owners Grandfather, Arthur Budgett, who bred horses in the 50s and 60s, including two Derby winners. A beautiful sight for any horse lovers! 


THE FAMILY

Charlie and Lucy live on the family farm where Charlie grew up, along with their three young children Daisy, Isabella and Freddie. Having recently taken over the running of the farm, they are working to continue the diversification instigated by Charlie’s parents, James and Roo.
