About Ken and Jane Clifford
Our holiday home is in the grounds of a former Freehouse of which we were the licensee from 1987 until we ceased trading in 1999. Since then we have undertaken many renovations, part of which is our home. We would like to introduce you to our new venture in our beautiful Marlborough Award winning village and share our love and knowledge of the surrounding towns, villages and countryside. Yours hosts Jane and Ken Clifford

Beautiful hideaway, cozy well equipped cottage with super hostsxx
Ken and Jane are fabulous hosts and were on hand for duration on our stay!
Thank you, we are pleased you were able to relax and enjoy your stay.
Brilliant comfortable cottage close to lovely countryside and interesting places
Came for a short break in a quiet cosy location. Cottage is great and we could find no fault (wine glasses were a bit large) - the only thing we could think of.!! Had a day walking - partly along the Oxford Canal which is well worth a visit - and stopped at the friendly Great Western Arms (lovely food - great welcome)
We also cycled a bit in the Cotswolds although it was a bit cold - beautiful villages. Lots more to do in the area, and the cottage was a great place to come back to - warm and cosy in winter. I fully recommend an stay.
Thank you so much, we are pleased you enjoyed our lovely corner of Oxfordshire and will visit again soon. Jane and Ken
Thank you for your 5 star excellence.
We look forward to welcoming you again soon.
Cosey and well located
Very nice living space to return to after trips out and about in Oxfordshire. Very much enjoyed our stay!
Thank you. We are pleased you enjoyed our lovely Countryside and City.
Cosy comfortable cottage
The property is brilliant for a couple. Everything clean as a whistle and fully equipped. Ken is a really nice bloke and stopped for a chat after we arrived. The village is a very nice to stroll around but allow plenty of time because the locals all seem to be friendly and want to stop for a chat. We had lunch in the Fox which was good with a welcoming host. Our visit was basically to break the journey each way to visit the NEC from Sussex. We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in this area. Colin and Eileen from East Grinstead
Thank you so much Colin and Eileen. We are pleased you found our beautiful part of Oxfordshire and enjoyed your stay with us.
Kind Regards Jane and Ken.
